Manageable family-run business with a good location. Within walking distance, a bakery and some restaurants can be reached, the restaurant in the square is very good and has live music on Wednesdays. Mini-market also at the square. Beach bar open until 10 PM with reasonable prices. On Thursdays, the operating family organizes a fishing festival with free wine and fried sardines, delicious. Tip: the children can also use their voucher for renting SUP or canoe. Not all parking spaces are level or shaded, some are tight to very tight for caravans with tents. Depending on this, it could somewhat spoil the stay. The three premium pitches are perfect and justify the small extra charge in every case. Sanitary facilities are sufficient and modern, the cleaning staff are busy throughout the day. The sea is very calm and gets deeper gradually, water shoes are recommended here due to muddy and rocky ground. The beach section offers plenty of space. We had a good time and would come back.

We spent two weeks just before the main season of 2023 in Kamp Slamni with two small children (1.5 + 3.5 years old). We managed to fit our large family tent on the pitch – unfortunately, like all pitches, it was roughly and rather sharply gravelled, which is not quite optimal in the tent. Our pitch had almost all-day shade. We were very close to the beach, the playground, the children's pool, and the beach bar with a boccia court – everything we need in our life stage ;) We found the campsite to be very family- and child-friendly, the site is very small and manageable and is very well maintained. The beach is rather "un-Croatian" with shallow and murky water; it can become painful when playing with the kids on the beach and in the water, and I considered buying swimming shoes for the first time in my life. The location on the island of Krk is good; all daily errands can be done on foot or by bike, and by car, you can reach almost everywhere quite quickly. During our visit, it felt like 90% of the campers were caravans or motorhomes from Germany, with a few Austrians and Slovenians. There was quite a bit of foot traffic on the site and also some who spent their stay on several pitches. It was nice to see how lovingly, enthusiastically, and family-oriented the site is managed. We already made a reservation for next year upon departure :)

Very nice and neat campsite with plenty of tranquility. However, one should not drive a motorhome over 7m, as the pitches are very small and cramped. Extending an awning is impossible. Otherwise, a really great and clean place.

Everything is just as described on the website of the site. We were there for two weeks and felt comfortable. You really have to choose the site according to the motorhome/caravan. Restaurant top for the price.

We had our first longer and further camping vacation here. Overall, we are completely satisfied and would come back at any time. The site itself has about 30 pitches, which are equipped with a gravel bed. Depending on the pitch, setting up the caravan and the like can be difficult due to tree growth, fencing, and the gravel bed. Electricity and water are available directly at the site. However, it is advisable to bring a hose with a connection for the water, as the water taps are sometimes mounted just above the ground. The sanitary facilities are a bit undersized with just two showers. Here, you often run the risk of having the staff's mop sweep across your feet, as they are diligently and cheerfully constantly mopping, sweeping, etc. Communication was easy in both German and English. On the premises, there is a small convenience store, a bar, and a restaurant at moderate prices. We found the food compared to the restaurant in the nearby village to be significantly better and tastier. We found the pizza to be recommendable. However, the highlight was the fresh anchovies, which were served on Thursdays during the "Fisherman's Festival." We didn't quite understand why these do not have a permanent spot on the restaurant menu. In terms of leisure, the site offers a small pool and playground for children, a pétanque court, as well as rental options for SUP, kayak, and a pedal boat. There is also a masseur that can be booked directly on the beach. The sea is directly adjacent, but…: It is an almost enclosed bay with a muddy bottom, making the water comparatively murky compared to the rest of the island’s waters. Due to the gravel beach, water shoes should be brought along. Oh yes, if you come here, take the island road all the way through and approach from the roundabout in Malinska via Rasnopaso! The road is better developed, and you won't hit the bumps like everyone else. ;-)

Great place with friendly staff. Everything was very clean and tidy. The food in the restaurant was very delicious and very reasonably priced. The pitches vary in size, which should be taken into account when booking. We booked a premium pitch and had plenty of space.

Camping Slamni is a quiet and very sleepy campsite directly by the sea. Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities are not really clean, although staff can be seen all day. The water at the campsite's private beach is murky compared to the surrounding conditions and does not resemble the turquoise-green water found everywhere else on Krk. Not recommended for guests under 40 and children, as there is simply nothing offered. The pitches are well suited for normal motorhomes and campers. However, they are too small for a slightly larger caravan + car. Since the pitches are covered with coarse gravel, the water drains away immediately in case of rain, keeping everything clean. In summary, we unfortunately cannot recommend the campsite.

Camping Slamni on the island of Krk is modern and child-friendly. The small campsite is located on the sunny beach of the sheltered and quiet bay of Soline. Two pools, a restaurant and a small grocery shop provide for the physical well-being and bathing pleasure. The Klimno boat harbour with its many good restaurants and nautical facilities is nearby.
The 4.5-star Slamni campsite offers pitches for 45 guests. They are located on a slightly sloping, terraced site with deciduous trees. Many of the pitches offer a marvellous view of the sea. Guests have access to a private bay with a pebble beach, parasols and sunbeds. There is a very popular restaurant serving local cuisine and a small grocery shop. Guests will find a well-stocked supermarket and a patisserie in the village of Klimno. In season, the beach bar offers delicious drinks and snacks right by the water. Children can move freely around the grounds and quickly make friends in the playground, in the children's pool or during the children's entertainment programme. There is also an entertainment programme for adults. Other amenities include the fitness room, the children's sanitary area, the dog shower and the free Wi-Fi and internet corner. Campers can supply and dispose of their camper vans and empty the cassette toilets. There are plenty of CEE sockets (6-16A) available as well as washing facilities for clothes and crockery. For excursions into the beautiful surroundings with forests and picturesque villages such as Sužan or Dobrinj, there is a bicycle hire service on site.
Camping Slamni is just around the corner from the harbour in Klimno. There is a modern marina, three boat building yards and water sports facilities. Windsurfing and sailing are popular in Kvarner Bay. Stand-up paddling and canoeing are possible in the bay of Soline. We recommend a trip to Meline, a beach famous for its fine pebbles and sand and healing mud (natural fango). If you prefer a quieter holiday, find a nice spot on Komoriska beach under the pine trees or in Rudine. The Biserujka stalactite cave near Rudine is an experience for explorers of all ages. An excursion into the branched cave is particularly interesting and beneficial in warm summer weather. Older children will love the water ski centre on the road from Krk to Baška.
