The campground is tidy and can be accessed independently via a barrier, even when the reception is no longer staffed. When we were there, the site was very, very full, and we struggled to find another spot with our small caravan. Definitely designed for motorhomes or even better campers. The sanitation building was modern and clean. Direct access to the lake. I'm not sure if you can get out again when the site is full without reception. Better to scout around in advance and then drive in. The staff were very friendly. We would use it again as a transit spot.

We were passing through with the motorhome. Very nice spot right by the lake, without designated pitches. I personally find this a bit inconvenient, as everyone is parked in a crisscross manner with motorhomes, trailers, or tents. This wastes a lot of space, which is why you should bring a longer cable to get to the next power box. Very clean sanitary facilities. Nice little shop, very friendly staff at the reception. Mainly visited by surfers.

We were in Silvaplana for the first time and we will definitely come back. Great place, beautifully located, nice staff, small shop, beach bar, and the best sanitary facilities we have encountered on our journey, with a separate area for children. You can hike here, ride even with regular e-bikes, or surf. The place is a surfer hotspot, there are no permanent spots and if you arrive on Sunday, the site is usually still quite full until 5:00 PM. Afterwards, it gets emptier.
