Camping Serro Da Bica

Right upon our arrival in September 2023, we were actively assisted in finding a suitable spot. In fact, you barely notice the street; it is very quiet there, and you can start beautiful hikes directly from the site. In the afternoons, we enjoyed participating in the gatherings at the cabin; there was always a lovely atmosphere with the other campers, which is thanks in no small part to the owner couple, who were always helpful and happily shared tips and suggestions. The sanitary facilities are very spacious and clean. Not far away lies the town of Ourique, which has quite good infrastructure and shopping options. In any case, this place is among the best we've visited in Portugal.

In the afternoons, we enjoyed participating in the meetings at the blockhouse; it was always a lovely atmosphere with the other campers, thanks in no small part to the owner couple who were always helpful and eager to share tips and suggestions. The sanitary facilities are very spacious and clean. Not far away is the town of Ourique with quite good infrastructure and good shopping options. In any case, this place ranks among the best we have visited in Portugal.

The family-run site is beautifully landscaped, offers plenty of tranquility and interesting leisure opportunities for nature lovers (including anglers). It is perfectly situated for hiking or biking tours. Mountain bikers will also find their enjoyment in the hills nearby. Directly with the operators, you can get tour suggestions and maps, as well as many routes on the Komoot app for every taste. Sanitary facilities and toilets are top-notch! The entire property is spacious and even offers a swimming opportunity in the Mira River. The nearby road is hardly noticeable and despite the secluded location of the site, it provides good transport connections. The operators are very nice and a little chat in German is also no problem. Every day from 5 PM, there is a small sit-in in the rustic log cabin on the site, together with the operators and all other guests who feel like socializing. Here you can share a beer or other drinks while discussing activities in the area or anything else. - This gives the entire place a nice, family atmosphere.
