Camping Sellö

The campsite is idyllically located on the island of Sollerön in Lake Siljan in Central Sweden. You can expect a partly flat, partly gently sloping meadow area in a forest clearing, surrounded by a holiday home settlement. The highlight is the direct view of the surrounding islands and mountains, as well as the 200-metre-long, sandy shoreline with a bathing jetty and sunbathing lawn.

You can choose from 130 pitches for holidaymakers, 100 of which are parcellated (size: 70 to 130 m²). All pitches have a power connection with 16 amps. If you arrive without your own vehicle, you can book one of the 15 cosy rentals, which do not have their own bathrooms.

Absolutely! For children, there is a great playground with a popular jumping pillow where the little ones can let off steam. If you are travelling with a dog, your four-legged friend will love the separate dog bathing area by the lake. Since there are many permanent campers, there is a very family-friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

Since the campsite is currently not bookable directly online via PiNCAMP, we do not have any up-to-date prices. However, you should plan for the following cost factors:

• Pitch fee for a car with a caravan, motorhome, or tent.
• Electricity is charged extra (connections with 16 amps are provided).
• Dogs are allowed on the campsite, and fees may apply.
• Rentals (15 cabins without their own bathroom) can be booked separately.

Arrival is straightforward: you can easily drive over a causeway directly onto the island of Sollerön. The campsite is also a great destination for winter sports enthusiasts in winter. A cross-country ski trail starts just 100 metres away, and the nearest ski lift is only about 5 kilometres away.

There is a small kiosk right at the reception that offers fresh bread rolls in the morning. For larger shopping trips, it is best to drive to the Coop supermarket in the town of Sollerön, 3 kilometres away. A restaurant is within easy walking distance, just about 100 metres from the campsite.

You certainly won't get bored here! You can rent boats and bicycles directly at the campsite or use the boat dock. For sports enthusiasts, there is a tennis court and a golf course just 500 metres away. If you prefer things quieter, you can relax in the campsite's own sauna or go fishing on the lake.
