Camping Seiser Alm

Aside from the wonderful view, the camping resort is beautifully laid out and well maintained. You can feel the love for detail. Everything you expect is present at the site, with the exception of a sauna area. The sanitary facilities are clean, although unfortunately some guests do not always leave them as they should. There is an upscale restaurant, « Zur Quelle », which serves delicious food, with very friendly and attentive staff. Perhaps an alternative with more moderate prices would be advisable. The cancellation policy could be more customer-friendly, but this did not affect us. The staff at the registration were always very helpful and friendly. There is also a well-stocked shop with shopping options where you can find almost everything you need. Conclusion: A great campsite that we would love to visit again.

Just very little green (grass) to play on for the kids, at the pitch itself as well as at the playground, where there are just wood chips. Also, it would be a lot better if cars would be mandatory to park at a separate car park, now all pitches and streets on the campsite are crowded with cars, which also drive back and forth the entire day. Pitch/rental accommodation: Too little green on pitch and street. Too many cars of our neighbors.

Pros

A campsite in a wonderful location. There are many tourist attractions nearby. The Völser Weiher lake is great for a relaxing day. Pitch/rental accommodation: There was some shade during the day, and the view of the mountains was fantastic.

Cons

I really miss a small bar at the campsite, where you can start your daily hike after having a croissant and a coffee in the morning. And in the evening you can relax with a drink while watching the World Cup final, for example. Well, on the day of the World Cup final, Sunday, everything was closed at the campsite. It felt strange, as if Italy had denied that such a world event was happening... Pitch/rental accommodation: There was a road running alongside the pitch, which was very busy in the morning and late afternoon/evening. So this pitch was less private.

Just an amazing place. The facility was clean and well-maintained, as was the entire sanitary area. Incredibly friendly staff at the reception. We would book here again anytime! Site/Rental Accommodation: Our site was superbly located, and we had a fantastic view. The site was large enough.

The pathway to the restroom from the back sites was long. Not that big of a deal, but I would at least find it advantageous to have a small additional restroom in the back area of the campsite. For this reason, I would deduct a few points in comfort. Site/Rental Accommodation: In our case, there is no need for improvement.

Unfortunately, it was nearly impossible to use the swimming pool. This had a very negative impact on our stay. Standplatz/Mietunterkunft: Okeyyyy
