Not Suitable for Summer.
The spots are very small. The parking space only fits the caravan. There is no room at all for a car and awning at the parking space. It’s okay for us in the winter. In the summer with kids, absolutely nothing. We would not book this spot again.

Campsite
The lake with a view is beautiful! Unfortunately, the pitches are very small, and the operator tries to fit as many as possible in, making it feel like a parking lot. The pitches do not have direct water and electricity connections. The showers and toilets are partly new but unfortunately not very c… More

Beautiful campsite directly at the lake
We are here for the second time. Each time 2 weeks before Pentecost. We have a spot directly by the lake. Very beautiful scenery. The tenant has changed and the prices have risen enormously in 2023. Cleanliness has declined. We raised this issue on site as well. The restaurant also has new tenants. … More

Camping Directly by the Lake
We had a very nice pitch right by the lake. In the cold pre-season, there were still some places available without a reservation. Unfortunately, the restaurant is closed and the prices for the campground are quite expensive. Nice walk around the lake.

Camping directly at the lake
We were at Seespitz for the first time with our camper. Great view of the gentle Emperor. Spot right on the lake shore. Despite the proximity to the main road, you don’t notice the traffic at the site. Very quiet. Some spots are gravelled. Electrical connection nearby and only a few meters to fresh … More

Great campsite, postcard-format view, friendly and helpful staff, whether at reception or the site manager, restaurant very good.
We are camping beginners, after thirteen years of permanent camping, Seespitz at Walchsee was our first camping trip for an extended weekend, and we were thrilled. We were incredibly lucky with the pitch, actually the best spot after the lakeside pitches, great view of the lake and the peaceful Kais… More

Disappointed
I am very disappointed and cannot agree with the good reviews. Everything else is fine, the washroom, the surroundings, and friendly staff. But the spots, except for the ones by the lake, are way too small. You stand packed together... like sardines in oil. Unfortunately, it would be a nice place if… More

Pleasant place, good restaurant, in summer nice for lounging and swimming, winter always very beautiful in the snow. Great view. Nice for hiking, ski slopes in Bhutan are accessible. A bit expensive otherwise very recommendable
Highly recommended very beautiful landscape for hiking, ski slopes easily accessible, nice for swimming in summer, a small cozy village for strolling with a cheese factory nearby. Camping site can be a bit expensive,
