The location right at Lake Walch is very nice. The power box is often up to 30m away, power cables are lying crosswise, even across the road. The sites are partly quite small. The sanitary building has been newly renovated and we liked it very much. The snack bar on the site is excellent. Breakfast items can be reached on foot in 5 minutes. The value for money of the site is so-so. We only stayed for 2 nights while passing through. WiFi coverage is poor. At our site 914, nothing worked.

90€ for a camping spot? Are you guys alright? I really hope that people will someday stop being willing to pay these prices and that you will either stay on your empty spots or come to your senses and offer moderate prices. 90€ is in NO WAY justified for this spot!!!

The spots are very small. The parking space only fits the caravan. There is no room at all for a car and awning at the parking space. It’s okay for us in the winter. In the summer with kids, absolutely nothing. We would not book this spot again.

The lake with a view is beautiful! Unfortunately, the pitches are very small, and the operator tries to fit as many as possible in, making it feel like a parking lot. The pitches do not have direct water and electricity connections. The showers and toilets are partly new but unfortunately not very clean. The price-to-performance ratio is not right here. From other camping guests, we learned that the operator has changed, and since then, unfortunately, many things have declined.

We are here for the second time. Each time 2 weeks before Pentecost. We have a spot directly by the lake. Very beautiful scenery. The tenant has changed and the prices have risen enormously in 2023. Cleanliness has declined. We raised this issue on site as well. The restaurant also has new tenants. The food was very delicious, however, it seldom opened. Hopefully this will change in the peak season.

We had a very nice pitch right by the lake. In the cold pre-season, there were still some places available without a reservation. Unfortunately, the restaurant is closed and the prices for the campground are quite expensive. Nice walk around the lake.

We were at Seespitz for the first time with our camper. Great view of the gentle Emperor. Spot right on the lake shore. Despite the proximity to the main road, you don’t notice the traffic at the site. Very quiet. Some spots are gravelled. Electrical connection nearby and only a few meters to fresh water. Sanitary facilities seem to be renovated and modern. They were always reasonably clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed for vacation. The site is well maintained. A great starting point for hiking and biking. Supermarket just a few hundred meters away with everything you need. Therefore, no shopping opportunities necessary at the site. In 5 minutes on foot to the center of Walchsee with good dining options. From boat rentals to bike rentals, all options for leisure activities are available. Bus stop on the main road nearby.

We are camping beginners, after thirteen years of permanent camping, Seespitz at Walchsee was our first camping trip for an extended weekend, and we were thrilled. We were incredibly lucky with the pitch, actually the best spot after the lakeside pitches, great view of the lake and the peaceful Kaiser mountain; having the first cup of coffee in the morning is already an experience, the lake is perfect for swimming, a bit off with the dog, but that’s no problem. The reception and site manager are always open to listen and very friendly, although I think that is not always easy during the high season and when fully booked😉. The sanitary facilities are top-notch and clean. The restaurant is also recommendable, delicious pizzas, freshly made fries, large selection. We will definitely come back!!
