Beautiful place, modern clean sanitary facilities. Breakfast and dinner can be taken in the hotel. Not cheap, but excellent quality.

Great campsite for beginners

Susanna
We were there as a couple and booked an overnight stay. Very nice reception and orientation. Mostly quiet spot, with possible noise disturbances during the day from the adjacent parking lot on the right side. Short distance to the beach, possibly a playground, and to get rolls. Flexible departure was possible. Some narrow paths for maneuvering. The sanitary facilities were clean, although only the men's one had been renovated. Freshwater and power connections were not available at every spot, maybe at every third pitch, but that was okay. Conclusion: For a short stay without children it is really adequate, but for a longer stay somewhat uncomfortable.

Close to the Beach Site
Very good8

Conveniently located near the beach and the large playground in Duhnen. The wooden terraces at each site are wonderful, eliminating the need to lay out a tent mat. This way, the children can also play well there even in bad weather. The washrooms promise the charm of the 70s, but they are clean.

simple but good showers, unfortunately only one with a shower head. Central location, thus sometimes kitchen odors from the surroundings. Very friendly and attentive staff! Price-quality ratio very good.

More info about Camping Seelust
Camping Seelust in Duhnen impresses with its village charm and its location right by the water. The campsite in the province of Lower Saxony is reminiscent of the summer holidays of the 70s and 80s with plastic furniture, Hollywood swings, strawberry cake and convivial barbecue evenings.
By the Wadden Sea - Camping Seelust
The Seelust campsite is not only close to the Wadden Sea in Lower Saxony, but also not far from the beautiful coastal town of Cuxhaven and is suitable for both shorter and longer stays. The one-hectare meadow site offers 50 pitches and is adjacent to a hotel of the same name. The atmosphere on the site, which is open all year round, is friendly and sociable, making it easy for guests to chat to each other. Children also quickly find playmates with whom they can head off to the nearby beach. On the site itself, relaxation, peace and quiet in a camping chair in front of your own caravan or motorhome are the order of the day. The site is an ideal spot for dog owners, older couples and cyclists who like to set off into the endless expanses of the surrounding area and look forward to a barbecued sausage in the evening. In the morning, the site's own bread roll service brings warm rolls or campers can meet for a coffee in the pub. In addition to a laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer, Wi-Fi is available at reception and in the restaurant. There is a golf course 15 kilometres away for those who can tear themselves away from their idyllic campsite.
