We booked the spot spontaneously - a quick call on the way, and a pitch for one night was already free. A great alternative to camping at Legoland! Beautifully located, nice place with swimming possibilities. Sanitary facilities are fine. Only downside: At over 60 € per night, it's a bit expensive for us.

Those who are traveling with children and dogs are exactly right here. The pitches are nicely laid out and relatively level. More sanitary facilities are being constructed. The staff are all friendly and dedicated. There's much to experience and discover on the farm and in the surrounding area. Overall, highly recommended.

Very nice place with plenty of variety for children: play barn with slides and climbing castle, table tennis and table football, and hayloft. Animal feeding every day, swimming lake. Very friendly reception, good, clean but perhaps a bit too few toilets. Large and shady pitches. All in all, highly recommendable.

We, two adults and three children between 8 and 10, were at the site in mid-August 2023. The plots are really spacious and the paths are short. We were lucky to get a spot that is near the tent meadow, so right by the lake, a classic sand pit with a suitable beach section. Right next to it is a volleyball court. Each pitch was bordered by trees and bushes on three sides. The pitch itself was grass, partially lightly gravels. The paths are all gravelled, the areas around the sanitary facilities and the reception are paved. The yard has a large fire pit for communal grilling and the play barn, with table tennis, a zip line, balance rope, and a 'climbing castle'. There is also a corner bench with a table in the separate area. Animal feeding can be accompanied twice daily. The roll service offers everything necessary and payment is made at the end with the total billing of the site. Electricity can, by the way, be obtained on request, so it doesn't have to be taken. The atmosphere at the site was great, very nice people met. The staff was also very nice and friendly, except on the phone, where we probably caught a bad day with an inquiry before our arrival. Now for the downside. The sanitary facilities are clearly too few, whether toilet, shower or washbasin. Fortunately, the paths were short and you could easily divert to the main building, but waiting was almost always necessary. Overall, the sanitary house at the tent meadow had more of a festival character, as the toilets and showers are used accordingly, cleanliness also suffers a bit. At the main building, it is a bit better. All in all, for families with children, a clear recommendation, but of the four stars for sanitation, I see a maximum of two. For swimming definitely at least three stars.

During our journey, we spontaneously made a stop at Schwarzfelder Hof. The reception staff was very nice and even organized a beautiful spot by the lake for us, despite the place being nearly fully booked for our spontaneous stop. It was a great stay for our child, offering a huge play barn, animal feeding, and fun swimming in the lake. The only downside was the summer bathing house (temporary sanitary facilities), which were a nightmare. There were too few facilities and they were not clean due to the high usage. Because of this issue, we have to deduct one star, as this situation could surely be resolved quickly and easily.

The prices are totally fine. There is a small football field, a small swimming lake, a kiosk (limited opening hours, only in the mornings and afternoons), and a pretty cool petting zoo with pigs/cows, rabbits, goats, and chickens... all small and cozy. No matter where you have your pitch, you can reach the “center” in 2 minutes. You can't complain at all for the price. However, you have to organize lunch yourself as there is no option to get anything between 11 AM and 5 PM... but if you know this, you can manage.

Great: -super pitches, great opportunities for children of all ages (the older ones like to look for crayfish, fish, and frogs in the lake) But: unfortunately no restaurant or snack bar. A mobile pizza cart comes daily (very delicious), but no opportunity for fries in between. And a big but, the site has many pitches but there were only 4 toilets for the caravans/tents, of which 2 were also broken. A new sanitary building and a small snack bar (ice cream machine only accepted €5 or €10 bills on some days). We will come back, and bring more food ourselves and hopefully also soon with more sanitary buildings.

We were there with our daughters aged 5 years and 1 year. There is animal feeding in the morning and evening (cows, goats, hens, rabbits, and horses or ponies), pony riding, an indoor playground (although there could be a little more to it), a playground, and a bathing lake. The pitches are clean and well-maintained, there is a kiosk, a mobile pizza bakery comes in the evening, and overall, the atmosphere here is very friendly. So it's ideal for families with younger children.

The comfortable Schwarzfelder Hof has a natural location and access to a bathing lake. The adjoining farm with its animals, the comfortable facilities and the countless regional excursion options guarantee a varied, relaxing and active holiday with the family.
There are 90 pitches for holidaymakers on the 6-hectare site, some of which are parcelled out. With pitches ranging in size from 100 to 150 square metres, guests can enjoy plenty of privacy. The campsite welcomes dogs and has amenities such as electricity and water connections. WLAN access is also available. The location directly on the bathing lake, which is suitable for swimming, fishing or boating, is one of the highlights for young and old alike. The farm belonging to the site is particularly popular with children. Here, young campers can have fun riding ponies, feeding the animals or romping around in the play barn and playground. Meanwhile, parents can cosy up with a book in the reading corner or go for a long hike. The Donaumoos adventure trail and the Danube cycle path run right next to the campsite. The friendly staff will be happy to help you plan your excursions. After a long day full of impressions, guests can socialise around the evening campfire and grill their own steaks and sausages. There is also a snack bar serving snacks and drinks. A visit to LEGOLAND in Günzburg, just 12 kilometres away, is also very popular with young and old alike.
