Relaxing bathing and cycling holiday!

A very nice quiet campsite by the lake, with a good restaurant and always clean sanitary facilities. The pitches are generously sized, some with trees/shade. Direct access to the lake. Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi is not great, especially at the edge of the pitches, and the mobile network (D1) is really poor. (But the campsite can't help that ;-)) The access to this beautiful site is currently a disaster, very narrow with a huge construction site in front of the entrance that is supposed to last until October 2026. Campers arriving far too early for the requested check-in time block the entry and exit. There are good cycling paths in the area. Very friendly people at the reception and in the restaurant. Fresh rolls are available from 7:00 AM. No dogs and therefore no "landmines".

The campsite and sanitary facilities are very well maintained. The reception at the front desk is very friendly and you receive all necessary information. The location of the campsite right by the lake is beautiful. The restaurant right by the lake is also recommended. We were very satisfied with the campsite and have already booked again for next year.

Very nice dog-free place near Waging at the lake

A very well-maintained site with clean sanitary facilities and beautiful lake access. The gastronomy on site is good. The menu is suitable, and the lakeside terrace is wonderful: enjoy food, drinks, and the view of the lake. The pitches are sufficiently large and partially planted with shade-giving trees on the boundaries. All age groups among the campers are represented, including many "repeat visitors". This speaks for the site! Very positive is the fact that there are no dogs on the site. Children feel comfortable even without animation, and all age groups enjoy the natural atmosphere. The site operators are very nice and helpful. My only point of criticism concerns the narrow access road. Arrival should not take place during the lunch break. There is hardly any waiting area and the access "clogs up". Therefore, it is better to arrive half an hour after the end of the lunch break. Then it works out! We will gladly return!!!

The 13th vacation was relaxing and very nice again. Met great new people and saw many old acquaintances again. It has really become a home for us... and we are already looking forward to next year, as we have booked directly again.

Beautiful Family Campsite
Very good8
Sebastian
A very well-kept site located directly by the lake. The plots are large enough. The bread roll service and restaurant completely met our needs. Restrooms and showers were always clean. For children, there is mainly the lake, a playground, and table tennis. This year (2021) there was no childcare available. That was a pity and a downside! Despite Corona, at least outdoor activities would have been possible. Here the operators made it too easy for themselves. Nevertheless, we felt comfortable right away, as the site has a very nice and manageable size. We don't need the big hustle and bustle. Therefore, thumbs up and a recommendation!

More info about Camping Schwanenplatz
The Schwanenplatz campsite is located directly on the shores of Lake Waginger See and is particularly popular with boaters and anglers. Families with children and couples appreciate the varied leisure facilities and the campsite's own bathing beach.
Well-kept campsite for active holidaymakers
Everything guests could wish for from a relaxing holiday by the lake becomes reality on the 4-hectare site of Camping Schwanenplatz, located on Waginger See, 55 km east of Rosenheim. Located in Upper Bavaria, the campsite offers a wide range of sports and leisure activities. From the 85 to 100 m² pitches for motorhomes, caravans and tents, the 300 metre long shoreline is within easy reach. Most of the 145 pitches for holidaymakers are not only equipped with electricity, but also with water and waste water connections. The well-kept sunbathing lawn is located directly on the pebble beach. The clean water is ideal for swimming. Anglers like to spend time on the sandbank at the mouth of the Dobelbach stream, where pike, eels and zander can be found. Boating enthusiasts also get their money's worth on holiday at Camping Schwanenplatz - jetties and boat slips are available. There is also an inviting playground with a climbing frame and nest swing right by the water. In the summer months, the youngest holidaymakers will love the fun children's entertainment with craft workshops and joint excursions. The children are lovingly looked after here, while the adults can treat themselves to a soothing massage or hire a bike or e-bike directly at the campsite. The 31 km long, signposted circular cycle route around Lake Waginger See leads through a gently rolling landscape and offers fantastic views of the Berchtesgaden and Chiemgau Alps.
Family-friendly ambience with a feel-good factor
The delightful children's pool with its own baby changing room ensures the well-being of the youngest guests. Just like the sanitary facilities for adults, the toilets and showers for the little ones are very clean. A barrier-free bathroom is also available. Delicious fish dishes, Bavarian home cooking and homemade pizza are served in the cosy Seealm restaurant right on the shore. Guests can also buy freshly baked bread rolls for breakfast here. The proximity to the town of Waging am See with its numerous shopping facilities is also popular with guests. It is not only the well-kept facilities and the numerous leisure options that ensure a feel-good factor, but also the friendly operators. From arrival to departure, the staff are happy to answer any questions you may have.
