Beautiful small well-kept, clean and quiet campsite in a castle courtyard. Almost new, clean sanitary facilities and a good bourgeois castle restaurant with a great food offering. Nice and friendly operators. With its connection to the motorway, the campsite is very suitable as a transit place.

Very nice small and quiet campsite in the castle courtyard. Even without a reservation, we were warmly welcomed by the operators. Spontaneously, we stayed for 3 nights there. Very beautiful campsite within recognizable old castle walls. Sanitary facilities very clean. Staff helpful and friendly. The restaurant offers good traditional cuisine. The price-performance ratio is right. This place is particularly suitable as an overnight spot during transit.

Beautiful Campsite in the Castle Courtyard
We chose this campsite for an overnight stay on the way home. A friendly welcome and a wonderful pitch by a low wall. The castle courtyard has variously sized pitches; there is also a pitch by a small lake. Very modern toilets and showers in an old outbuilding. Schloss-Issigau is recommended.
