Camping Scarabeo

The location is really beautiful! However, we had a problem: a sprinkler system was installed right behind our motorhome. In the middle of the night, it went off and sprayed towards our motorhome. We had two sleepless nights.... A reduction of 3 euros would be acceptable, especially considering the already high price of 38 euros plus tourist tax. We found that not very accommodating 😕.

A great campsite, the best we visited on our tour of Sicily. Very nice welcome from the owner, who explained everything in detail. Private toilet for each pitch in our season at no extra charge. Direct access to a very well-kept beach, wonderful! Every day bakers, fishmongers, fruit/vegetable trucks, and an ice cream vendor come to the campsite, very convenient and good quality at fair prices. A place to relax!

We were here for the last eight days of October and felt very comfortable. Bakers, butchers, and vegetable dealers also came during this time, the beach was great for our six-year-old, the team very nice, and private toilet included in the price. The place is an absolute recommendation!

The site is very lovingly furnished with a really beautiful facility. Many flower hedges and palm trees, right by the beautiful sandy beach. Ideal for families with children. The ice cream man, baker, fish seller, and vegetable trader come regularly to the site. The staff is very nice and helpful. Actually, the perfect place if it weren't for these exceedingly annoying flies. It is impossible to sit outside in the morning and have breakfast; you immediately feel 50 flies sitting on your plate. However, we still stayed for a week. At the beach, the annoying creatures are not present, and they disappear after 8 PM. Of the 3 sites in the village, we think this is the most beautiful, but you have to be able to make peace with the flies. They are also present at the other sites.

Great spots, private toilet and very short access to the sea. I would especially like to mention the helpfulness. I had a flat tire and received all the help one could wish for.

It is a highly recommended place, beautifully planted, well-maintained, and clean. There are the Scarabeo green and blue sites. Each camper has their own toilet, with a sink on Scarabeo blue. Both sites have direct access to a beautiful sandy beach. Every morning, 2 bakers come, several times a week there is a vegetable dealer and a cheese seller. 2 supermarkets are located in Santa Croce Camerina, 7 km away. There are 2 small shops in immediate proximity.
