We spent 4 days at this campsite and concluded that we will definitely come back. Our pitch was in the front row to the sea and the pebble beach was only a few meters away. Despite the fact that there are many guests vacationing with their dogs, animal waste is extremely rarely found. We were accommodated in the older part of the campsite, which has not yet been renovated - even though the sanitary facilities are aging, a lot of attention is paid to cleanliness here. However, if someone wants something a bit more modern, they can also visit the other areas with a short walk. What is absolutely a no-go, however, is the fact that a fee is charged for the use of the pool loungers - this should be included in the price at such a campsite!

The campsite has unfortunately deteriorated in many areas. We were greeted with an unfinished pool and sanitary building. This resulted in constant noise, insufficient showers and toilets, cold showers, and little opportunity to wash clothes. No notice, no compensation, and no apology, nothing at all. Just ill-tempered, rude staff who cannot speak English. When they finally opened the new attractions, there were only problems. Wrong, unhygienic, and unsafe designs everywhere. The campsite is open all day and night for anyone. This situation would be exploited by the neighboring apartments, farm, and people from the village without any countermeasures. Cleanliness is terrible (the toilets are rarely cleaned, and when they are, with the same mop for everything (floor, toilet, walls). Wash basins for laundry are used to gut fish!

A beautiful nature-preserved campsite with mostly shaded and spacious pitches. Every evening you can watch the sunsets and if you're lucky you might even see dolphins in the distance. There are good opportunities everywhere to go into the water. Unfortunately, the pool that was announced for this season had not yet opened. Our children were a bit sad about this, but we were given a 30% discount. The sanitary facilities were clean at all times. Unfortunately, we also have to complain about the Bora Bora Bar. It was very loud every evening. After midnight it got a bit quieter, but the bass still rumbled. We still say thank you for a lovely vacation.

The images of the campsite are absolutely not what we actually found. The pool, which is described in almost all of the pictures, is still under construction. There is no greenery on the areas at the campsite, just gravel. Otherwise, the campsite is okay. And it has direct access to the beach. Our pitch is relatively large.

We had booked for 16 nights but left after 10 days. The sea and the friendliness of the cleaning staff, as well as the cleanliness of the sanitary facilities, are good. The reception was annoyed and unmotivated. The place is loud, right on the street where there was traffic all night, and the dog beach was poorly accessible. Dog showers are only available in the main area of sanitary building No. 4 at the end. The showers (you had to undress in the shower) and toilets (if someone was washing their hands at the sink, it was almost impossible to get by) are very cramped. We cannot recommend the campsite.

Caution disco across the street. The campsite actually has everything one could need. There is direct access to the beach. The sanitary facilities are top-notch. There is a shop and an ice cream parlor around the corner. Unfortunately, the music from the disco across the street disturbed us until after midnight.

Pitch with sea view with enough space beside each other. Pines create shady spots during high temperatures to rest under. WC and washing facilities are very close by on foot. The noise level at the campsite is quiet in the morning, normal during the day. Quiet hours are between 2 PM and 4 PM. Fresh fruit and vegetables are available at the beach in front of the campsite. The beach sections of the campsite are extensive, meaning there is enough space even in high season, so you can spread out there without being squashed together. At certain points there are shaded spots provided by pines. Disabled individuals find help through prepared paths with handrails, making it easier and safer to access the sea for swimming. Boat rental and waste separation. Due to bar Bora Bora in front of the campsite, the noise level/music level is amplified or less received depending on the proximity of your pitch to the bar from 8 PM to 12 AM.

In the north-west of Istria, Camping Savudrija scores with its location directly on a clean pebble and rocky beach. Guests can also cool off in the spacious pool area with an aqua park for children. The family-friendly campsite also offers a varied entertainment programme and a playground. Four-legged friends are also very welcome on the well-kept grounds. The campsite boasts spacious pitches for caravans and motorhomes close to the sea.
Not far from the oldest lighthouse on the Adriatic and surrounded by beautiful pine forests, Camping Savudrija offers 348 spacious pitches. The 11-hectare, unspoilt site borders directly on the 1 km long pebble and rocky beach. The Classic pitches are equipped with an electricity connection, while the Superior pitches also have fresh water, waste water and satellite TV connections. WLAN is also available free of charge throughout the site. Those who want to experience a holiday in the fresh air in a luxurious ambience can rent one of the 16 glamping tents with a kitchen, air conditioning, a living unit and two bedrooms. The catering options at Camping Savudrija are also impressive. Self-catering guests can buy food in the campsite supermarket. Guests can indulge themselves in the cosy restaurant.
Camping Savudrija is perfectly geared to the needs of children. Friendly entertainers invite young and old to play together and take part in creative workshops. Children can also satisfy their urge to be active on the large playground or in the well-maintained aquapark. The large outdoor pool is also a favourite for active swimmers. There is a tennis school right on the campsite, where expert trainers give tips on improving your serve, forehand and backhand. Water sports enthusiasts will also find fantastic conditions: The Savudrija coast is ideal for snorkelling and there is also a boat hire service at the campsite.
Just a few steps from the campsite is the Savudrija lighthouse, built in 1818 and considered the oldest in the eastern Adriatic. The fire from the 36 metre high tower can be seen as far away as Italy. Active travellers like to explore the north of the Croatian peninsula of Istria by bike. The tour along the coast to Umag is around 16 kilometres long. On the route, cyclists get to know the unspoilt capes of Tiola, Katoro and Sipar with their small towns and villages. In Umag, it is worth taking a walk through the narrow streets of the historic old town, where the remains of the town wall and the parish church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary with the bell tower of St Pellegrinus are among the landmarks. An excursion tip for families is the Aquapark Istralandia in Nova Vas, a 30-minute drive from the campsite. The 81,000 square metre area is home to countless water slides.
To plan a carefree holiday at Camping Savudrija, it is advisable to book pitches for motorhomes on Pincamp in good time. The ADAC camping portal not only offers comprehensive information about the campsite, but also shows worthwhile alternatives in Istria or Umag.
