Camping Sarajevo

There are some negative reviews that may have their justification from the perspective of the writers. However, everyone should perhaps also take a look at the circumstances, as it is important to note that the site is not located right in the city center, which requires consideration on how to get there. We were recently there and are very positively impressed. A wonderfully nice couple who also speak good German. Sanitary facilities are always clean, there is always hot water, and if you have questions, no answer is left unanswered. After 4 days, we already felt like we belonged to the family. Regarding the negative remarks about the owners, I can only say that you get what you give... We can only highly recommend this place (despite a not easy access for larger vehicles).

Very nice couple running the campsite. They speak very good German and are helpful with all requests. There is a train about 800m away to Sarajevo. Near the station, there is a bakery and a grocery store.

Great little campsite for visiting Sarajevo. The pitches are small but nice, the toilets are very clean, and the owner couple is extremely friendly and very helpful. We will definitely come back to this site again.

Unfortunately, there are only 5 stars to award in this case. Eight to nine would be appropriate. So, VERY clean. Place like toilets. And very safe. Senad and his wife Alma are hosts with heart and soul, and it is obvious that they do not run the place just for the money, and we had several lovely evenings by the fire with homemade apple schnapps and cherry liqueur (definitely bring some). Sarajevo is easily accessible from there by public transport, but if one wants to go individually to the city or elsewhere, Senad quickly organizes the transport. So we will definitely be coming back and are already looking forward to it.

Simple, very well-kept and clean place with everything you need. Good, clean sanitary facilities, washing machine available. Covered outdoor area with seating and a lounge room available. Sites of your choice with grass or gravel and electricity. The owner speaks very good German and English, is friendly and helpful. Payment also possible in euros. There are shopping opportunities nearby.

The campsite was well signposted, so you couldn't miss it. Nice grassy or gravel sites, with electricity available if needed. Possibility to empty wastewater and camping toilet. The owner is super nice and helpful, also speaks German. Taxi to the city costs about €13 or you can take the train from the nearby station.
