Camping Santa Marta

It was loud and unbearable. A holiday camp of the school was opened here. The children were unsupervised and screamed until late at night, and it was really unbearable, this noise. The campsite was unoccupied. Unbelievable!

Attention Schullandheim!!! Unfortunately, it was an absolute nightmare. We arrived and were initially very satisfied with the location and the quiet. The lady at the reception was very friendly. Unfortunately, on the day of our arrival, about 50 or more children from a school arrived – a holiday camp. The previously clean sanitary facilities were very unclean, and the children (it’s normal for children to be noisy) ran around loudly without educators or supervisors until late in the night. The children ran back and forth and screamed. I also have children (but I have never experienced anything like this). Unfortunately, this was tolerated on the premises. Even in our closed motorhome, it was unbearable due to the noise. It’s a pity that our holiday was ruined. We did not know that this facility was a Schullandheim. The operator should have informed us.

Friendly support in setting up each individual pitch by the site manager. Pitches are partly very small. Due to the leaves from the trees, satellite reception is hardly possible in many pitches. Clean toilets. Pool use not possible in winter. Short path to the clean, wide sandy beach.

The site is terraced on a hill not far from the fine sandy beach. We were there for just one night on our way to Malaga with 2 adults and 2 children (15 and 14), but it was perfect for that. It is very shady due to the many pines, and when it rains, the water drains well through the terraced layout. You can park the car near the plot. The restaurant and supermarket are okay - you can get everything you need there. I wouldn't want to spend 2 weeks there with the kids (we would miss a pool and entertainment for that), but that wasn’t our expectation. The sanitary facilities are fine, and I would recommend the site solely because of the great location! The price was absolutely fair for the high season.
