Directly located on the Weser with a sandy beach. We had a nice spot with direct access to the water. The possibility to rent an electric car is great! The owner is very friendly and helpful. The sanitary facilities are quite aged but were always tidy. For disposing of the chemical toilet, another spot had to be found.

We were there right for the season opening and we really liked it. We stood in the front row by the Weser, it was worth it. In the mornings and evenings, the passing ships and the sunset are unique. The sanitary building is a bit old, but it is regularly cleaned and very tidy. What we didn't like so much is that there is only 1 sanitary building with washing and disposal facilities. But that's our personal opinion. A lot of work is being done at the site, and I think there will be more developments.

We were at the campsite for 8 nights in August. After the first night in the third row, we were allowed to move to one of the few pitches in the front row by the water, which is free for tourist campers. The view of the Weser, the ferry, other ships, and the fantastic sunsets was amazing. The restroom facilities were quite far away, but we had bicycles with us. The restroom is located on a ridge and is quite old, but always clean. The pitches are extremely large and divided by hedges. Because the campsite has to be cleared every autumn, the long-term camping pitches are also very tidy, and there is no 'caravan graveyard' on the site. Supplies are provided through a funny vending machine sale. There is everything necessary, refrigerated and unrefrigerated, from groceries to shower gel to a crate of beer. Otherwise, there is a bakery, a butcher, and a restaurant in the village. Additionally, there is a fish stand at the small harbor, and there are also fries and ice cream. The staff is very friendly, and we would love to come back.
