Beautiful, natural campsite (mostly grass) without frills. Sanitary facilities are simple but clean. Away from the hustle and bustle of Eidfjord. Great excursion opportunities in the area. Sites right by the water only for tent campers. Road within earshot. Quiet at night. Contrary to the indication from ADAC, dogs are allowed on the site (at least in the off-season).

Sanitary facilities and other service areas are very outdated and decaying. Electrical outlets are sparsely distributed across the site. One may need very long cables. Wi-Fi is only available near the reception.

Location very nice by the lake with great mountains around, overall a wonderful area. But the campsite is very run down, unfortunately the sanitary area also didn't seem well cleaned. Bring long power cables!

The site has a beautiful location and is quite spacious. Sanitary facilities at the reception are quite outdated. Cleanliness good (the other building was occupied by a Dutch caravan site...). The road is unfortunately quite noisy. Not a bad campsite, but also not very good. Tents can be set up right by the lake.
