Ruissalo is the beach of the city of Turku, very nicely located, but quite busy in the summer. The sanitary facilities are okay and apparently have been remodeled a bit, but we found the cleaning times in the mornings very impractical (between 8 and 9 nothing was possible). For Turku and the ferry departure, it was very convenient and therefore also okay. If you want a parking space with electricity, you should reserve in the summer.

The campsite itself was beautifully located in terms of scenery. But the sanitary facilities were very poor: rotten, rusty, and anyone could look through a large gap in the door into the toilets. 3 toilets, 2 showers for many guests. Kitchen also rotten, smell. Unfriendly staff.
