Good location and connection to Lüneburg, nice staff and very good food at the Forsthaus Great price-performance ratio. The sanitary facilities do not match the descriptions. Mold in the joints and on the shower walls, spiders on the ceiling and thick layer of dust/grease on the hinges. The bathing lake is closed.

I can only echo my predecessors: this can be much better! How the ADAC comes to 4 stars is a mystery to me. Unkempt, loveless, little cleaning. A maximum of one night out of necessity.

Hello, unfortunately I had to notice some deficiencies. Sanitary facilities neglected. The staff at the inn noticeably unfriendly. Suitable for a short stay for city sightseeing, otherwise move on, there are many nice and well-kept campsites.

Place: In the central part, there are permanent campers. Behind the entrance on the right are the short-term guests, RVs. That makes sense. Sufficient power connections. 1 sanitary building with good, but too little capacity. The cleaning effort is kept low here. Shower with an ante-room and well-tempered. Unfortunately, many enter the wet area with everyday shoes, which does not improve the appearance. Here, the user is responsible. The dishwashing areas work, but also look old and unkempt. Toilet waste disposal without storage, ventilation, and suitable cleaning equipment. RESTAURANT, more of a snack bar: Standard, pizza, salads, tarte flambée, drinks. Everything goes quite quickly. The outdoor area also seemed unkempt. With simple means and time, many things can be fixed here. According to the website, a dream has come true with this place. Now wake up and come to reality. So far, we would only come back for one night again, because Lüneburg is so close.

Only 4 men's toilets for the entire campsite with more than 150 pitches. Completely insufficient ventilation in the sanitary building. The stench was intolerable. The automatic faucets only provide water for a few seconds. Toilets in a separate building, primitive and completely outdated. The sewage disposal is an imposition. The restaurant is good. The bread roll service opens much too late and is cumbersome with long lines or waiting times. Wi-Fi is completely useless.
