The place is very nicely situated directly by the Danube and the ferry to Dürnstein. There are currently larger renovation works, sanitary facilities are in containers and are kept clean. For this you only pay half. Everything should be finished by next year.

A top place, it's already a wonderful feeling to wake up directly at the Danube in the morning. Great staff, very friendly and helpful, I would love to come back.

We were there as a group at the site and had a nice little area for ourselves. The site is extremely manageable; therefore, I would definitely reserve in advance. In the sanitary building, it was always a bit cramped in the mornings. But it was fine.... The location is of course unique with the Danube directly in front of the camper door ;-) We were there in an extremely warm April and were even able to take a refreshing dip in the 18-degree cold Danube. The site is excellently suited as a starting point for bike tours and hikes. The area is simply dreamlike, and with such great weather, it is just wonderfully beautiful there. We will definitely come again.

The campsite has a unique location right by the Danube. The staff is very friendly and helpful. A prior reservation, even outside the main season, is recommended. The same applies to the restaurant, which is recommended for good home-cooked meals. The sanitary facilities are good and clean, but very scarce for toilets and dishwashing sinks when the site is fully booked. The operation of the flush at the toilets is difficult for children. The shower facilities are very good. Also good is the access control for this area, with a chip, for the campers. A weak point at the site is the electricity connection boxes. Campers in the second row do not have their own connection boxes and have to look for a free connection with exposed extension cables over the walkway. Investment needs to be made here. Overall, the site is recommended.

Here one can let the soul dangle, unfortunately we only spent 3 days at this beautiful campsite. Thanks to pre-booking, we had a pitch directly by the banks of the Danube. We were warmly welcomed by the owner at the reception. The formalities were taken care of quickly. Rolls can be ordered in advance, and the associated restaurant "Alte Schiffstation" is highly recommended. Access to the sanitary building is only via a chip, as the Danube cycling path runs right past it. The sanitary facilities are excellent and very clean. The shower area is not separated for men and women. The shower cubicles are unusually large, equipped with a fixed shower head and a hand shower, which can be operated optionally. Additionally, there is a sink and a hairdryer in the shower cubicle. Wi-Fi is available throughout the site, but only for a fee. From here, the Wachau can be explored well. You don't have to drive for wine tasting, as there are several vintners in the area. Shopping options for groceries are very limited (small supermarket in Rossatz), better shopping options in Krems (10 minutes drive away). We would have liked to stay longer and will definitely come back.

Very nice place with a view of the Danube and Dürnstein! Restrooms with paper and disinfectants! Restrooms with washbasins, soap, and paper! Thank you!!! Showers and washbasins together, with a small partition by the washbasin would be perfect! Overall, however, there are too few restrooms! For the women, 3 out of 5 are usable. The other two are defective? For the men, 3 out of 4 are usable! The site area could also look a bit more maintained. 220V household sockets for power connection are outdated! However, some campers did have quite adventurous extension cords with partially exposed wires connected. Here, the site management should take a more critical look! Despite everything, we had a very nice time here in the Wachau.
