Camping Roquetas

Large campsite, good access and wide roads. V&E well located for motorhomes. Pool unfortunately closed in early November. The path to the beach is not the prettiest, but it’s okay. No spa, no indoor pool, and no gym. Well located between two towns and nice to cycle along the beach. I was satisfied.

We were literally devoured by mosquitoes. The beach is not nice and is right next to a road.

Nice large pitch/double Gravel, shower, and electricity up to 4KW included. The sanitary facilities are clean, cleaned daily but have seen better days. There are only two sinks with hot water, 3 only cold, I would like to wash with hot water in the morning. Unfortunately, the entrance to the sanitary facilities is not illuminated in the dark and inside you have to switch the light on which then goes out after a short time and you sit in the dark on the toilet. Motion sensors would be appropriate here.

We stayed here for 3 days with our motorhome. As there are few motorhome pitches in this area, this is a good opportunity for a stopover. With the ADAC Campingcard 21 € per day in the low season including 4 kWh of electricity. Each additional kWh costs 40 cents. Sanitary facilities are old but clean and totally fine.

One could really do a lot with the campsite.... But not much is really being done, the sanitary facilities are quite outdated, only 2 washbasins have warm water, no separate cubicles, and only 1x warm water for rinsing, the rest is cold water! The path to the beach is tedious because of all the dog waste.... Even on the site, dog owners are unable to clean up after their pets!!

Old sanitary facilities, but well-maintained and clean. Nice warm shower. The store was very manageable. The spots are sufficiently large in the off-season, as two are always combined. The surroundings are not very inviting, but the beach can be easily reached via a path. Good shopping opportunities in Roquetas. Unfortunately, mosquito attacks.

Large site. Only 20% occupied at the end of September. To the beach, fine gravel, about 500m. City reachable in 5 minutes by bike. Restaurant good. Traffic noise only very minimal in the background. We were just passing through, stayed here for one night, but it seems interesting for winterers.

We are now spending the winter for the 7th time at Camping Roquetas. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Everything is within easy reach. It is very quiet at night. We always like to come back.
