Picturesque Campsite by the Atlantic

This campsite is located in a picturesque setting close to the Atlantic Ocean. The pitches are mostly situated under trees, but they are often quite narrow. The beach is about 200 meters away, with many kite surfers on that stretch of beach. The sanitary facilities are basic and in need of modernization, but they are clean. Wi-Fi is available at the reception, although with moderate performance. Bread can be purchased at the campsite shop without prior reservation.

Nice little campsite. All sanitary facilities are clean. Friendly reception. About 300 meters on foot directly to the endlessly long beach. On foot, the town of Tarifa is about 4 km away.

Small clean place. The sanitary facilities are older but clean. A large part of the pitches are very small.

Beautiful Place! Otherwise "Tomorrow!"

Actually a nice little place with a 70s flair. Unfortunately, this also applies to the sanitary facilities. There is a certain backlog of investments here. Furthermore, nice pitches, beautiful old tree population. Unfortunately, the backlog of investments also applies to the bridge over the Rio Jara, which has been partially collapsed for months. This unfortunately means that you have to wade knee-deep through the river to get to the fantastic beach. Not feasible for children. But with the many kite surfers, you can manage!! Unfortunately!!

Small, clean place, sanitary facilities clean, but quite old. Close to nature at the huge beach. Very friendly staff.

Great spot with a view of the water

The place is great if you get one of the spots with a view of the water. This way, you can watch the surfers even in a storm. We did not use the sanitary facilities.

Good Campsite

Even with a dog, we had no problems! He was even allowed on the beach. We could take long walks on the beach. A paradise for kitesurfers. The sanitary facilities were good, the campsite decorated with many details. Among other things, with Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy (Laurel and Hardy), not all to my taste, but nice. Good connection to Gibraltar, less than 50 km away. You can walk to Tarifa via a wooden walkway with a view of the sea. Only at the beginning is there a short stretch, 800 m, along the N 340. We would come back again.

Camping as it should be!

We were very satisfied: direct beach access, many beautiful spots in the off-season (the closer to the beach, the stronger the wind!). Good restaurant across the street. The sanitary facilities could be nicer, and the shop isn't worth much. We always walked to Tarifa, biking and the fast road didn't go together.
