Best place by Lake Ohrid First row right by the water 18€, second row 8€ for motorcycle + tent. Restaurant on site. Sanitary facilities of simple but clean quality. Upon arrival, you get a schnapps as a welcome and every morning a coffee. Upon departure, there was also a bottle of regional wine. Conclusion: 1 night + restaurant = 30€ including coffee, schnapps, and a bottle of wine. You can hardly want more. Highly recommended.

A nicely laid out campsite directly by Lake Ohrid. Very warm welcome, free choice of spots. Upon arrival, there was espresso and pomace. The sanitary facilities are acceptable, although the lighting is somewhat dim. The water pressure for hot water is a bit weak. The price-performance ratio is very good. The system with the receipt (everything you buy or consume at Family Rino is added to the bill) is good. In the evenings, you can hear the music from the event tent quite well. However, I have to bring up massive criticism. The food in the restaurant was the worst we had during our 5-month round trip. The rump steak was some piece of beef that was cooked so much, it was dry and hardly edible. The same applied to the beef steak, except that the beef steak was actually a pork cutlet. The side dishes were edible. We only ate there once and then catered elsewhere. The prices here are also too high compared to other much better restaurants. The chef should be replaced. The campsite is recommended, but not the restaurant.

Located directly by the lake! Very friendly welcome. There is a welcome drink. The site seems well-maintained, almost new. The mostly still young trees provide limited shade. Only right by the shore are the spots (maybe a bit narrow) parcelled out. Sanitary facilities are modern and clean. The kitchen in the campsite's restaurant is very good, although the menu is limited. Family-friendly atmosphere.

The best campsite on our 11-week Southeast Europe tour. We felt very welcome and comfortable at the beautiful site right by the lake. The people were all very (child-)friendly, the food in the restaurant very delicious and we simply had a great time.

Very nice hosts who welcome you with a Raki, make a great coffee (free in the morning), take good care of the premises, and with whom you can have a good chat about this and that. The location right by the lake is beautiful. And all this for a small price! Full marks for this place.

There are campgrounds where you would rather drive away as quickly as possible, and others where you feel comfortable right away. The Rino Camping, a few kilometers from Struga and a bit further from Ohrid, belongs to the second category for us. Upon arrival, you are greeted extremely friendly, and hardly parked, you are immediately welcomed with a delicious coffee paired with a local schnapps. At the smaller Rino 1 with some pitches and holiday apartments, there is a restaurant with good local cuisine. If you like fish, you must definitely order the fried trout from Lake Ohrid here. Simply wonderful! We had our pitch at Rino 2, which is just under 100 meters away and also directly by the lake. Even the second row here had a nice view of the lake. The fenced facility was only recently opened. The grass on the pitches was therefore still not very dense, and the recently planted trees provided only little shade apart from a few spots with old trees. Sufficient electrical connections (Schuko) are available. In the small bar right at the entrance, you can get snacks and drinks throughout the day or book a trip to Struga or Ohrid. For larger laundry, a washing machine is available. However, you can also have laundry washed for four euros. This is done within a maximum of 24 hours. In Rino 2, the sanitary facilities are in a kind of metal container. They are well maintained. Warm water was only available at the showers during our stay, but not at the sinks or the washing trough for dishes. However, next to the latter was the drain pipe for the chemical toilets. We find this unhygienic. From experience, we know that some individuals do not adhere to the rules at all. When we pointed out the possible problem, the owners of the site promised to remedy it.
