Camping Resort Šibenik

I can't understand the negative review. Yes, the site is quite stony, but that means no mud when it rains. And yes, it is certainly not completely developed yet, but it is far from being a construction site. The beach is extensive, though the access to the water could be better. It's a shame that sunbeds and umbrellas are extra fees. The washroom is excellent and is cleaned often. Although it's a bit remote, Vodice is easily accessible by car, and there are many restaurants. We did not use the restaurant on site, as it seemed unwelcoming, like a cafeteria. For anyone who prefers a quieter stay, this site is absolutely recommended.

We checked out the Camping Resort Sibenik and what can I say... It's a total stone desert - extremely hot, as there's almost no shade - the olive trees are nice but small - the roof pool at the reception is a small square with no shading whatsoever - very small and totally cramped sanitation facilities, but very clean - showers partially lacking shelves or hooks - bread service, well, various sliced baguettes are sold as bread rolls and can only be picked up at the restaurant after 9:00 AM - the sea is very murky, not really what one expects from Croatia - it's so high up filled with gravel that one has difficulty entering the sea, and then there are extremely many sea urchins - it takes about half an hour to walk to Jadrija if you're walking fast, from where a taxi boat departs to Sibenik... In conclusion for us personally... after 2 nights, we fled from what felt like a vacation on a construction site.

Those seeking peace will surely find it here. It is a very nice campsite with a stunning view of the sea, far from mass tourism. The staff are all very friendly. The sanitary facilities are very clean and spaciously designed. All pitches have an electricity, water, and wastewater connection and are sufficiently large. The pitches are dotted with olive trees that add to the Mediterranean charm of the campsite and should therefore be respected. Shopping options are available in the nearby town of Vodice. In Jadria, there is a small shop and some eateries. With the water taxi, it’s 3€ for a round trip to Šibenik. We were thrilled and will come back! 😎
