Camping Resort Riegersburg

An excellent campsite with wonderful showers, clean sanitary facilities, beautiful pitches, and friendly staff... This is the best kept and most modern campsite we have ever visited – and not just in Austria!

A truly successful campsite – modern, clean, and professionally managed. The sanitary facilities are of a very good standard and impeccably clean. Overall, there is a calm and pleasant atmosphere. Getting there is straightforward, and the pitches are generously sized with lovely grass. The Wi-Fi is powerful, but regular re-registration is required. A real highlight is the location: right next to a public swimming lake and with a beautiful view of Riegersburg. In the surrounding area, there are numerous Buschenschänken – from rustic to modern – which are easily reachable by bike. For the steeper sections, an e-bike is recommended. A grocery store is conveniently located 600 m away. Overall, a place that you would gladly recommend!

Top pitch (we had category Superior) with a paved area for our motorhome. Electricity, water, and sewer available at the site. Sanitary facilities are top-notch. There is a lounge available with a kitchenette. Included in the price is access to the swimming lake, located across the street. Nearby, there is a supermarket and several restaurants. For catering on-site, there is a farm shop (self-service) open 24/7. The reception is not staffed 24 hours, so please check in advance how to get to the site upon arrival. However, there are a few spots with electricity connections in front of the site, and a water supply is also available.

The rental accommodations are very high-quality furnished - air conditioning, dishwasher, coffee machine, fully equipped kitchen, heating - nothing is missing! Beautiful sanitary rooms, common room with kitchen - fully equipped, coffee machine, large refrigerator, cooking plates, and much more. The staff is super friendly and helpful! Shopping opportunities right nearby. Beautiful bathing lake with restaurant - opposite the place. Bicycle rental on site! Plenty of friendly dining options around.

The campsite has been newly established. Opposite is the lake bath, which may be used free of charge. Supermarkets and restaurants are also on the doorstep. Tennis courts and a soccer field can be reached within just a few minutes on foot. Many excursion destinations such as "Zotter Chocolate", "Gölles Vinegar & Schnapps Distillery", "Vulcano Ham", etc. are located in the nearby area. Of course, the Riegersburg with its museums and the bird of prey show also invites a visit. The hilly surroundings are perfect for hiking and cycling.
