Camping Resort Lake Shkodra

In April, we already stayed at this campsite, and on our return trip, we booked a few nights again. It was considerably busier this time, but thankfully the relaxed atmosphere remained. This campsite is definitely one of our favorites. We are also very enthusiastic about the restaurant. The food is delicious, the prices are reasonable, and the staff is particularly welcoming. The pitches offer sufficient shade and have their own water tap. However, there are a few points to consider. The showers drain poorly, which often leaves you standing in a puddle of water while showering. Additionally, the waste is collected in a closed space without adequate ventilation, causing unpleasant odors and attracting many pests. Lastly, we noticed that most guests were German-speaking, which slightly diminishes the international holiday feeling.

Lake Shkodra Resort is a top-notch campsite set in a stunning location by Lake Shkodra, featuring its own beautifully equipped beach area. The site is predominantly frequented by German, Austrian, Swiss, and Dutch campers. The warm German-speaking welcome from Elda, Desi, and Vali is exceptionally friendly and helpful. The grounds and sanitary facilities are meticulously maintained and clean. The Wi-Fi is excellent. The old part of the campsite offers plenty of shade, while the new area currently lacks much shade yet offers a fantastic view of the lake. The restaurant is also highly recommended. It is 11 km to the center of Shkodra by bike, and 14 km to Rozafa Fortress via a lovely bike path next to the bypass (Shkodra-Bypass), passing the old Buna Bridge and the Lead Mosque. It was a wonderfully beautiful and eventful stay; from the originally planned 5 days, we spontaneously extended to 7.

ACSI discount for low season and free WIFI. What a fantastic campsite! In April, the stay is even cheaper than with the ACSI discount (which applies from May 1st). We paid € 18.50 per night. The campsite has a large grassy field with pitches all around. Some spots have pergolas that provide shade. There are many birds in the vegetation that wake you up in the morning. All pitches have a water tap. Additionally, there is an area where the pitches are a bit closer together. There are also some unique accommodations in the form of treehouses. The site is charming, green, and well-maintained. The sanitary facilities are well taken care of. By the lake, there's a terrace with free sunbeds. There is also a sunbathing area. The restaurant has a beautiful view over the lake. The food is good and not expensive. In the evening, there is a stunning sunset. There is a small shop on the premises.

Very friendly reception, despite late arrival a pitch was allocated and the next day a nice plot with direct view of the lake was given. Good and affordable restaurant. Price for Pincamp or ACSI 19 € including electricity. Card payment with a 3% surcharge. Sanitary facilities super and clean.

Very beautiful place with everything you need

Everything you need for a nice camping holiday is present. The lakeshore and the spacious and free loungers and umbrellas complement the offer. Many dogs do not disturb due to the leash requirement.

The site is very beautifully located by the lake and at the nature reserve. The facilities are very good. The restaurant is also very good and reasonably priced. Dog-friendly site.

A very nice place, the sanitary facilities are still okay, the restaurant offers nice seating options and drinks, the dinner was rather disappointing, but one can cook for oneself. There is a small supermarket that has everything necessary. You can enjoy a nice walk outside with the dogs, they can also go to the lake. That the dogs stay on a leash should be taken for granted, but unfortunately it is not the case here. There are a lot of little children here, surely great for families, but unfortunately they also run around haphazardly across the plots. The operator can’t help it. To address the previous review: A place or part without children would also be nice and would meet the needs of those seeking peace or pet owners.
