Wonderful Campsite, recommended for everyone!
Everything very tidy and clean. In the premium area, there is a large parking space. A well-thought-out system at the power box/safe billing. Super clean sanitary facilities. Large spacious showers and rental cabins. However, these cost €15 per day, which we find expensive. In the sanitary building … More

Unfortunately only costs!!!
we wanted to enjoy our well-deserved vacation again in this place. After the online booking, we were informed that the system unfortunately also books individual days as a week. Consequently, a less interesting site was offered. Despite the remark that we are arriving with a camper van with a traile… More

Great owner-managed location, beautiful indoor pool, friendly staff, clean sanitation facilities. Currently a construction site at the location, but only a minor inconvenience.

The place is simply very beautiful, sanitary facilities are generous and very clean, nice indoor pool and sauna. From the parking space, there is a beautiful view of the mountains, with hikes and bike tours starting right from the site. We haven't been here for a few years, but we are thrilled again… More

Good campsite in a beautiful environment
The site is divided into categories... Standard, Comfort, Premium. We are accommodated in the standard area... we wanted two spots next to each other, as we are vacationing with friends. With a caravan plus car and a motorhome, we found plenty of space here. The sanitary facilities are spacious and … More

The Camping Residence Sägemühle in Prad am Stilfserjoch shines with great reviews. This is not surprising, as this campsite in South Tyrol offers the Ortler summit as a backdrop and a number of special features. These definitely include the comfortable swimming pool and the sanitary facilities especially for children. And the restaurant is also popular with the locals because of its excellent regional cuisine.
Mobile travellers will find everything that makes camping pleasant at the quiet Camping Residence Sägemühle. Supply and disposal stations for motorhomes and cassette toilets are available. Modern machines are available in the launderette, also for drying. There is a separate sanitary room for children, as well as for wheelchair users. And even dogs are catered for, as they have their own shower. The childcare team provides an attractive programme and little adventures to keep the kids in the best camping mood, and they can also let off steam in the playground. There is also a paddling pool. This is built into the indoor pool, where the steam bath, sauna and whirlpool are ideal for relaxing. The campsite, barely 200 m from the centre of Prad, has a kiosk and an excellent restaurant with regional specialities on the menu. There is also an internet corner. In addition, the WLAN signal can be received at each of the 130 pitches. This campsite west of Merano/Meran is extremely versatile and sociable. In addition to the fitness room and the multi-purpose pitch, there is a sports programme with gymnastics, group hikes and bike tours. As the Camping Residence Sägemühle is also used as a winter campsite, the service includes a storage room for winter sports equipment, a cross-country ski trail in front of the site and a shuttle bus to the nearest ski lift during the ski season.
The owner family of this campsite offers the right tour through the Venosta Valley for every taste. Amusing tastings in a fruit distillery and a hearty breakfast with bread warm from the oven and fresh milk in a mountain hut are on offer. Tandem flights over the alpine landscape on a paraglider with an experienced pilot are also possible. The Stelvio Pass road, which climbs up to 2,750 metres, is considered one of the most charming panoramic routes in South Tyrol, which campers can explore on rental motorbikes. And those travelling during the ski season will love visiting the Advent markets in Meran or Mals, as well as the four first-class ski arenas within a radius of just 20 km. Ice skating is also a pleasure in the Prad sports zone, as well as on Lake Reschen. The latter is always an attraction because of its sunken church, whose bell tower stubbornly peers out of the water.
