Campsite with outdated facilities

Arne

July 2022

The campsite is actually quite nicely located at the entrance of the Antholz Valley; unfortunately, the sanitary facilities are partially very outdated and do not match the advertising in specialized magazines, unfriendly service in the shop, the reception was friendly and helpful. The electricity price of €0.95/kWh is already cheeky!!! The price/performance ratio does not match the offer of the campsite. Apparently, the campsite is being given up, at least that’s what some long-time campers said.

Needs Renovation

July 2022

Good quiet location at the entrance of the Antholz Valley, situated in a small piece of forest. It takes about 20 minutes on foot to reach the village, where the bus stop to Bruneck and the valley towards Antholzer Lake is located. I was greeted quite nicely, and the sanitary facilities were always clean. However, for the rather steep price, I would have expected a different standard, especially in South Tyrol. If the place were cheaper, it would be a good alternative to the expensive top spots in the region. Thus, I probably will not return. From my perspective, the restaurant is not recommendable, the small shop offers the essentials and is well stocked.

It's not 4 stars...

... and I'm also surprised that it's an ADAC tip. The place is actually nice and well-located, but probably since 1970, nothing has been done to the sanitary facilities. Still, not exactly cheap. Instead of South Tyrolean warmth, there’s a cool routine.

Where do the 3-4 stars come from?

June 2021

The arrival was already frightening enough. If we had not already been on the road all day with our 2 children, I would have driven on immediately. We were greeted at the reception by a middle-aged woman who probably still believed she was managing a residence. I haven't experienced such arrogance and superficiality in a long time. There was no empathy. The fact that we wouldn't need electricity for one night had to be repeated multiple times. We never received the free Wi-Fi access. The condition of the sanitary facilities was, from our perspective, a disaster. Dark brown tiles, completely dark due to small windows, and not exactly clean either. When we compare the star ratings with renowned camping sites in Croatia, the ratio does not match at all. However, there is a plus point for the restaurant. The food tasted good, and the waiter was top-notch.

Quiet site, very friendly owners

Very good8

Derek

May 2020

We have been to the site several times now and we really liked it. The owners are very friendly, everything is sparkling clean, and the prices are reasonable. For us, traveling with two large dogs, the site is ideal. The forest starts right at the exit and we can just head out. There is a pool available, not a luxurious facility like perhaps elsewhere, but perfectly adequate for doing a few laps after hiking. Only those expecting entertainment and parties instead of peace and relaxation will be disappointed. But we will definitely come back!

Stylish and quiet campsite in the middle of a small forest, heated outdoor swimming pool, pitches neatly sized with fresh water connection. Sanitary facilities are a bit older but clean.

Very nice, clean camping site

June 2019

Spacious pitches, all with power supply, pleasantly quiet at night and also comfortably cool during the summer due to the location, toilets and showers are sufficiently available and are regularly cleaned, pool and children's pool are covered at night and have warm water during the day. Restaurant, small shop and roll service on site. Good starting point for hikes or tours, public transport is easily accessible. Washing machines are also available. The ground inlet for motorhomes is also easily accessible for larger motorhomes. The site can be used all year round, including winter camping.

Good location in the heart of South Tyrol

September 2018

The campsite is located in a very quiet forest area, but it is very damp; there is a swimming pool, the outdoor pool is heated, the sanitary facilities were clean and spacious, but the site does not exude much charm.
