We stayed here in September for 3 nights. The first time, but definitely not the last. Super clean, super well-kept, super friendly, just super. Dogs are welcome and there are also plenty of dog waste bags. The location is excellent, a swimming pool a few minutes walk away, including mini-golf and plenty for children. Some circular hiking trails also start there, and of course there are enough in the area. And if something goes wrong, it's not far to the Bergdoktor;-) I don’t usually like writing reviews, but since there’s really nothing to complain about here, I had to do it :-)

We came to Hopfgarten by chance, our regular camping site in this region was occupied. We were so impressed by the cleanliness of the sanitary facilities, the friendliness of the operators, and the value for money that after a few visits we decided to get a permanent pitch there.
