Camping Putterersee

We enjoyed our second visit just as much. The space, sanitary facilities, and service are still top-notch. Here you can let your soul dangle, it’s all very laid-back. In bad weather, we appreciate the large barn for table tennis. Great cycling area even without an e-bike. The small lake invites you to swim, paddle, or SUP, but that's about it.

We felt very comfortable there. Large camping spaces with enough room on all sides. You could buy rolls in the morning without pre-ordering. There were also the necessary ingredients for a good breakfast (butter, jam, fresh eggs, etc.) available for purchase, which was especially good for the campers. There is a camping café with nice outdoor seating, where you can get breakfast as well as other snacks and drinks. There is private access to the lake, so you didn't have to go to the swimming pool across the way.

We spent a few lovely days at Lake Putterer and felt completely at ease. The site is quietly located, the lake invites you to swim, and the pitches are spacious enough. The sanitary facilities are truly excellent and always clean. Friendliness and service at the site are simply great, including a roll service. The only limitation is that the pitches directly by the lake can become a bit muddy in rainy weather.

Really nice little place, located right by the swimming lake. Friendly reception, quick check-in during the high season without a reservation. Everything you need on-site, discount store 1200m away. Toilets and showers are really very good, with disinfection available in the toilets, and washbasins and mirrors separate in the shower cubicle. Good opportunities for cycling tours with the best views.

We have been going to the Putterersee campsite run by the Steiner family for several years. The campsite is very family-oriented, the sanitary facilities are top-notch, and you can walk everywhere. There are many hiking opportunities all around. The Steiner family is very nice and very helpful; there is always a great spot for us. We feel very comfortable and hope for many more camping years with the Steiner family at the campsite.

Beautiful location right by the warm Moor Lake. Friendly family business on a farm. Breakfast rolls are excellent. Footpath to the village through the lakeside meadows. Nearby attractions are easily accessible by e-bike. Very nice new sanitary building.
