Camping Pueblo Blanco
Campsite Overview

Campsite Intro
About
Camping Pueblo Blanco awaits its holiday guests in the beautiful town of Olvera. This town is known as the white village in the north of the province of Cádiz. The parish church and the 12th century castle, which towers over Olvera, are particularly worth seeing. The surrounding area is characterised by small mountains and fields, creating a picturesque natural landscape. Not far from the campsite is the Peñón de Zaframagón nature reserve, which is characterised in particular by its striking rock formations, but also by the beautiful floral landscape and the riverside vegetation along the River Guadalporcún. There is so much to discover here!

Pros
View at the top edge, with shade! Standplaats/Huuraccommodatie: Spacious enough and the view.
Cons
Doors in the toilet building upstairs close poorly. Soap at the ladies' toilets upstairs. Limited time for the youth in the swimming pool and music much quieter. Standplaats/Huuraccommodatie: Already mentioned.

ACSI discount in the low and high season. Beautifully located on a hill. Nice panorama. Large campsite with large and small pitches. Choice of shade or sun. Reception and swimming pool closed between 14:00 and 16:00. The swimming pool could use some renovation. All 4 showers by the pool are not working and the grass by the pool should be watered occasionally. It is now dry and yellow. We had a lot of trouble with flies. There were also quite a few mosquitoes. If you are at the top, it is quite a descent/ascent to/from the restaurant/reception/pool. The bike ride along the old railway is beautiful with breathtaking views. There is a restaurant, but we did not eat there. The old Olvera is beautiful with a nice church and lovely restaurants. It is best to go by car because it will be difficult by bike. The new Olvera has no atmosphere. The wifi is poor.

Pros
There is a nice path around the campsite for a walk with the dog. The village of Olvera is within walking distance. Pitch/Accommodation: Despite the many mountains/hills, it is a nice flat spot for campers.
Cons
No WiFi connection The selection in the mini supermarket is very limited. Pool out of service Restaurant closed This is likely mostly due to off-season. Pitch/Accommodation: Compared to other campsites, the spots may feel a bit bare.
