Good starting point for Preikestolen, expensive and poorly organized

No real spacing: everyone is standing around somehow and those with the biggest space needs take whatever they want. Potholes are the norm and there is only one central bathhouse.

Spacious, tranquil area with many trees. Surrounded by mountains and forests, perfect for hiking. Very large showers, but unfortunately too few. Very friendly staff.

Beautiful campsite and great as a starting point for the hike to Preikestolen
Very good8

Surroundings: Beautiful campsite with a small pond. You can choose your spot yourself. We had a nice spot between the trees right by the pond. +++ Activities: The campsite is perfectly located to start the hike to Preikestolen. You can walk to the Preikestolen parking lot (about 4km) or take the shuttle bus (which runs every hour and is chargeable). Additionally, a public bus runs, but it is said to be not very reliable. +++ Internet: is included, but not very reliable. Especially in the evenings from around 10:00 PM it stops working. +++ Sanitary facilities: Everything is clean. Showers are included. +++ Amenities: Great. +++ Supplies and waste disposal for motorhomes: Great. +++ Staff: Very nice. +++ Catering: There is a restaurant that was open until 7:30 PM. There is a small selection of dishes there. The offering will certainly be more extensive in the peak season. +++ We initially wanted to spend only two nights there, but ended up staying for 4 nights. +++ Price/performance ratio: For the fact that the campsite is directly at Preikestolen, the price is absolutely reasonable.

Class CP as a starting point for a hike to Preikestolen. Sanitary facilities completely okay. No designated spots, everyone stands where they like, which made it seem a bit chaotic to us.

Well-equipped site, plenty of clean sanitary facilities. A lot of traffic due to daily arrivals and departures, most stay only one night to see the Preikestolen.
