The campground is located in a dreamlike setting. As soon as the year-round campers quiet down, it is absolutely silent. The beach with 2 coves and a neighboring cove to experience the sunrise over Mount Athos is top-notch. One part of the beach has space for people who like to have their beer brought to their lounge chair, including seeing and being seen, while another part is for beach individualists. Unfortunately, the campground is completely congested with year-round campers who have a need for ever-increasing land gain. The many beautiful mobile homes are probably always booked by Bulgarians. The Greeks told us they are quite in the minority :-) The few spots for campers are nearly all without shade and, unfortunately, are located in the remaining areas that nobody really wants. Here, everyone has a boat or jet ski. There's a lot happening. Such a beautiful piece of earth, but unfortunately nothing for us.
