We stayed on the site for 3 nights in September. Next to the actual campsite, there is a type of parking space that is part of the main site with large plots and plenty of shade. From there, you are immediately at the lake, which has a shaded shore that belongs to the site. It takes about 20 minutes to get to the city of Bracciano, although you have to tackle steep and rough paths. The city is beautiful and offers everything your heart desires. A bus that departs directly from the campsite also takes you to the city and to the Bracciano train station, from where you can reach Rome in about 1 hour. The campsite also offers a shuttle to the train station upon request. The site is good for starting trips to Rome; the staff (especially the young man) are friendly. Unfortunately, the site is quite dated and we hardly saw any cleaning staff at least during the off-season. Consequently, garbage cans were not emptied for days, and cobwebs indicate a lack of cleaning effort. The original campsite seems more like a storage area for various motorcycles and tools of the owner. If there were a bit more tidy care, it would leave a completely different impression. However, the site is ideal for exploring Rome and Bracciano and swimming at the private beach. You have to overlook a bit about the rest.
