Camping Playa Tropicana

Gravel pitches, very clean even when it rains. Very quiet. Well-stocked small supermarket with normal prices. Fresh bread in the morning is sometimes still warm: delicious. Spacious clean sanitary facilities. Indoor pool clean, water is warm. It was still too cold for the outdoor pool. All in all, a nice campsite. The only thing that bothered us was the keeping of various birds in aviaries, which we find inappropriate for a campsite, especially the keeping of the parrot in a tiny cage at the entrance to the site, which is a matter of animal welfare. We were here in March 24. We will definitely return.

As already mentioned, one should approach the campsite in Alcossebre; the navigation leads via 'Singletrack Roads' with oncoming traffic. Beautifully laid out, medium-sized campsite, partly narrow access to the very different pitches. Large vehicle drivers should inspect the situation beforehand and request alternatives. Sanitary facilities in the upper area are very decent. WiFi is too expensive, unstable, with little bandwidth. Supermarket meets almost all needs. Good connections for bicycles.

WLAN is €15/week. but not stable No flexibility in booking. We wanted to leave one day earlier but didn’t get any refund. Restrooms, Shower ok.

Very loud around the swimming pool. All the spots around the small swimming pool are empty. The overall area is only half occupied, poor gastronomy mainly on the sidewalk. In the rooms, 1/3 of the tables and chairs are no longer there. A lot of traffic on the square. Constant coming and going, many only stay briefly.

Unfortunately, ADAC Campcard not accepted despite application from ADAC. Otherwise a good place but very expensive.

Really nice campsite at the sea. Very friendly staff. Very well and nice organized place with well cleaned facilities. Good supermarket on site. Good biking route along the shore to the town. Unfortunately we stayed only one night but definitely would come back. ADAC accepted.

Separated from the pebble beach by a driveway, large playground in the front area. Various-sized plots, only some have water and sewage. Shade provided by young trees. Electricity supplied with Schuko sockets. Sanitary facilities are plentiful and always clean. Use of washing machines costs 6 euros! Pool also has a roof in the low season. Supermarket Consum Charter is well stocked and prices are normal. Restaurant is also okay. Unfortunately, Wi-Fi is very expensive and poor (15 euros per week and no streaming possible). In high season, there are children's activities. The nearest village with restaurants and supermarkets is about 3 km away.

We have been here quite often over the last 6 years and for us, the quality of the site has noticeably declined. This is certainly also due to the completely worn-out lower washroom. The staff are still friendly, but for example, we received a message under the windshield wiper the day before we left, telling us to check in at the reception. When I inquired about it, I was told to please settle my bill. That puzzled me.
