You only have to walk across a short dune strip with wooden boardwalks and you are standing in a beautiful, roughly 600-metre-long sandy bay. The bay is framed by impressive cliffs on both sides – perfect for swimming, relaxing and taking long beach walks right by the Atlantic.

Q: Is it quiet on the campsite during the day and at night?

Yes, absolutely! The site is known for its wonderful peace and cosy atmosphere. To keep it that way, there is a fixed quiet period at lunchtime from 13:00 to 14:00. It is perfect for reading a book in the shade or taking a relaxed nap while the sea breeze blows through the trees.

Prices vary depending on the season. Q: What do I need to know about arrival and equipment at Camping Playa Peñarronda?

Arriving by car with a caravan is straightforward, as the campsite is located very close to the motorway. On site, you will find a partly flat, partly gently sloping meadow. Since the ground is grass, you should pack standard pegs for your awning. Please note that the site is only open during the summer season from 01.06. to 25.09.

You are well looked after! There is a cosy restaurant directly on the grounds, where you can enjoy delicious meals and even have breakfast in the morning. For your daily needs, the site has its own grocery store. If you are planning a larger shopping trip, you will find the nearest supermarket about 5 kilometres away.

One of the most beautiful places we have visited so far. Family-run - very friendly and helpful. Very nice and well-maintained green areas. Sanitary: very clean Beach: Dreamlike We actually only wanted to stay here for 1 night, but then stayed for 4 days 😎
