Great place in a beautiful area

Very well-kept camping site with spacious pitches. The new indoor pool and the Superloung (bar) are beautifully designed. Every evening there was an event that was varied. Some mobile homes are right next to the stage; the pitches can be heard but are much quieter. After 11 PM, it’s quiet. The staff on the campsite is very friendly. We will come back.

46.22 € for 10 min reservation - disproportionately high!

We reserved a pitch at the campsite by phone 2 days in advance and unfortunately had to cancel shortly afterwards. The fee of 46.22 € for the pitch was immediately charged. According to an employee, we should send an email for the refund. Initially, we were also asked for bank details, however no refund was made afterwards. After a total of 9 emails, we gave up. The management showed no flexibility for my concerns and displayed no accommodating behavior. Customer orientation and satisfaction don’t seem to be important. Training for the employees who signaled willingness to accommodate seems necessary here. Attention to all who wish to go to this campsite at short notice!

Terribly built up with holiday homes

This formerly beautiful campsite has been entirely built over with holiday homes. Now it's just mass tourism. No more lovely atmosphere and very expensive. Dogs are not welcome and also costly. No more nice spots with sea views for camping tourists. A shame about the beautiful bay with this terrible development of many holiday homes. This place has nothing to do with camping anymore. Such places not only destroy nature, but also the Breton coast. The new owner (investor) consistently deletes all negative reviews and blocks those individuals. This place doesn't deserve even one star! Camping spots are assigned and cannot be chosen by oneself. Only 4 persons are allowed per spot. Families with 3 or more children are turned away. This is unacceptable! 😡👎

Beautiful place in a dreamlike area

We cannot understand the last entry. For us, it was the first visit to this site and we found it beautiful. Sufficiently large plots, green, adequate sanitary block, friendly staff. Sure, there are many mobile homes, but they blend in and are not visually offensive. It must be annoying if you've known the place from before and have witnessed the changes. We liked it and the surrounding area is a dream. Good spot for kitesurfing, surfers, etc. Dogs welcome.

Terrifyingly Changed

For almost the last 15 years, we have gladly returned to this place, which is arguably one of the most beautiful in Brittany. During our last stay in 2021, the longtime staff informed us that changes were likely, as a new operator had taken over the site. What we found this year was simply terrifying. All the previous terrace pitches, framed by hedges, are completely paved over with mobile homes. Caravans and motorhomes are only placed in the lower area, and the friendly, completely new staff does not care at all whether the vehicle fits in the pitch. We quickly looked for a proper campsite in the area and departed after two nights. Adieu St. Pabu. A shame about this beautiful spot.

we got a huge space for our motorhome, would have been enough for two, toilets, showers, etc. flawless, power connections also with tap, beach with fantastic sunset, store on the site for the essentials (fruits and vegetables).

Attention New Owner!! No longer recommended as there are only holiday homes 😡👎

Please note that all negative reviews will be deleted by the new owner! 😡👎 This campsite is a disaster and you should not spend your vacation there! Many houses have been built. All the beautiful spots for campers have been destroyed! This is not a nice campsite for tents and caravans! So not a nice campsite but a village with houses. We will no longer spend our vacation there. Negative reviews on Facebook and everywhere are always deleted by the new owner!!!!! New outrageously high prices! Dogs are no longer welcome and are expensive! They just want to make quick money here!

The campsite was very large, you had everything you need. We had a pitch right in the first row and only had to cross the street to get to the beach. Staff very friendly and some spoke German.
