We always liked coming here before because we could camp right on the beach, with an unobstructed view of the sea, without a fence or hedge. Now the first 7(!) rows must remain free. This takes away the charm for us: hundreds of meters through the pine forest to the sea. In the season, the campsite is full of Italians who have no need for peace and quiet. There is constantly music and noise somewhere. The sanitary facilities have been in need of renovation since we have known the place (over 10 years), but they are somewhat clean. There are no longer any trash containers; instead, you are supposed to place your trash by the roadside by 7:30 AM, where compost is collected daily and all other waste (glass, cardboard, aluminum/plastic) is collected every 2-3 days. As a result, the place looks like a trash heap with traveling people, and since you put your trash out in the evening if you want to sleep longer than 7:30, the waste bag with food scraps is often ripped open by stray animals the next morning and the contents scattered. Under the pines, it's pleasantly semi-shady, but unfortunately, the mosquitoes find it nice too, as their breeding conditions are favored by the Italians, who spread a lot of water on the forest floor, preferably to clean their camping equipment. Right on the beach, the mosquito plague used to be bearable, but in the middle of the pine forest, we were bitten so badly in a short time that we looked for another campsite. We paid for 8 nights as much as for 15 nights at a nearby, very well-maintained, spotlessly clean campsite that is open year-round, where it was absolutely quiet, the restaurant was also open at the end of September, we were only separated from the beach (and the wind) by an oleander hedge, there were showers at the beach, and there were only a few mosquitoes. And: where you could dispose of toilet paper in the toilet bowl like at home instead of throwing it in a trash can "to avoid blockages," in which you could see the stool of all the predecessors of the day. Anyone who wants to camp in the late season without close neighbors is still well accommodated there. I recommend a lot of Autan.

We stayed in the off-season for one night at the campsite. It is secluded without supply. It was already very empty. Campsites under tall trees; shady. Sanitary facilities in need of renovation.

Very nice spot directly at the beach without a fence. We always come back here and enjoy this simple Italian campsite. The sanitary facilities are basic but always clean.

We were there in the off-season and the pre-season and we enjoyed it every time. It is simply left in a natural state under tall pines. The beach is large, clean, and well-maintained. The site has no fence to the beach; the pitches are spacious. The sanitary facilities are, like the site, simple and clean Southern Italian. We will definitely go there again.

We have been going to this campsite for a long time. It is located directly on the beach of the Ionian Sea. Unfortunately, not enough is being done to maintain the campsite. A visit is not recommended with small children (lack of sanitary facilities for use with babies and toddlers). Hot water is often problematic. Drain water increasingly of poor quality. The regular pitches are not equipped with water connections. The entertainment is only in Italian. Restaurant varies greatly in quality. Shop is okay but has limited selection. Butcher is good. Mobile fish trade is good.

We were there last year and the entire facility is great. The supermarket has a great selection and everything you need is in the facility. There are even restaurants if you want to go out to eat.

Here we were absolutely surprised! A beautiful extensive place. We also immediately extended for another day because we found it so nice here. The sanitary facilities are somewhat dated but they worked without any restrictions and were clean. Since German is spoken at the reception/management area of this place, we were able to have many interesting conversations and receive information that we might not have otherwise gotten :-) . On the day of departure, each departing guest was bid farewell at the gate. We felt very comfortable here during our trip around Italy and will definitely come back here, and then also for a longer time.
