Long-stretched, partially flat, partially slightly sloping terrain. Various types of vegetation, mostly tall pines. Some partly natural pitches with younger growth. In the village area. Strongly influenced by permanent campers.
Separated from the concrete, around 250 m long sunbathing area by the beach promenade.
Due to the bustling promenade and bars, noise disturbances can also be expected in the evening.

The sanitary facilities are in poor condition. Ladies and gentlemen had to share a restroom. However, the reception is very friendly and helpful.

Three stars for this campsite is a bit of an exaggeration. It is dirty, loud, poorly maintained, and the pitches are quite cramped. The sanitary facilities were far too few for the size of the site and also too far away from our pitch. Even the access to our pitch with our motorhome was quite unpleasant. At a height of 2.9 m, the branches of the overhanging trees kept hitting our motorhome. Not good service. After a night accompanied by loud music, we continued to search for another campsite.

We stayed there for four nights and were glad to be able to move on. The campsite is quite okay. Our pitch was divided. The sanitary facilities were okay but also aging. One toilet was completely closed. The campsite is not suitable for relaxation, as there is a nightclub about 800 m away that is open until 4 a.m. It was quite loud at night because of this. Wi-Fi also didn't work everywhere. Nice beach promenade, bakery available. Supermarket accessible on foot. There was children's animation.

We stayed 5 nights at the campsite and relied on the rating. Previously, we had also been in Zadar at the Falkenstein campsite. The campsite is in poor condition. There seems to be no gardener. Trash is lying around the area. I've experienced such poor sanitary facilities in former Yugoslavia. Everywhere the plaster is crumbling in the sanitary facilities and there is mold present. The place is firmly in Slovenian hands, currently mostly young people. It resembles a festival, acoustically until the morning. However, there are also vacationers who come back every year. It seems that the Falkenstein group uses the revenue for the renovation of other premium campsites. At the time of the visit, the site was rated by the ADAC and the poor impression was confirmed.

Only the location of the campsite is good, everything else can be forgotten. Camping Pila is getting worse and worse. The sanitary facilities are substandard, at least the ones for men. There is a strong smell of urine in the toilet facility. The smells in the men's showers are indescribable. The place is completely unkempt, the paths are growing increasingly overgrown. The green areas are not mowed and much more is left to be desired. And yet 3.5 stars are awarded by ADAC, who can understand this should explain. The absolute icing on the cake is the noise from the beach disco, which starts around 10 PM and ends in the morning around 4 AM. There is no thinking of a decent night's sleep here. All complaints at the reception are dismissed with the remark that we have no influence on that. Anyone who willingly goes there is only to be pitied. SW

Nice centrally located campsite, the sanitary facilities could be a bit cleaner. Good prices and friendly staff. We have been there twice already and will definitely come back.

We came to the campsite spontaneously, as all spots in Krk were occupied on September 10th. Here we got a good pitch with water and electricity - 50 meters from the beach. We could not dispose of the wastewater directly since the gradient was not suitable. The sanitary facilities were a bit further away and had different standards. The middle one was always clean and there was no waiting time at the showers, even though the campsite was 80% full in the first week. The last one, on the other hand, was cleaned less and was more dirty. We felt comfortable because the area is very green and beautifully overgrown, and the pitches were not adapted for the state-of-the-art motorhomes. Shopping options are directly in front of the campsite, and there is a great vegetable vendor a bit further away. Cafés, bars, and local restaurants are all within walking distance. The beach is good, and the access to the water is perfect. Conclusion: the campsite is very green, there is still normalcy, and not everything is newly renovated to a high standard.

We were at this site in September 23 and left after one night. The washrooms were hygienically in a catastrophic condition, the site quite noisy, the beach concreted and directly next to a road leading to the harbor. The dog beach is located on a rocky coast and is a 30-minute walk away. Not good for our large dog to go swimming.

Camping Pila (managed by Falkensteiner) is characterised by its child-friendliness and proximity to the beach and is ideal for families who want to spend their beach holiday on the coast of the island of Krk. Animal lovers are also welcome here and can look forward to an official dog beach 3 kilometres south of Punat.
Camping Pila (managed by Falkensteiner), which is connected to a hotel, is located directly on the long beach promenade of Punat. The terrain is mostly flat, elongated and characterised by tall pine trees and green hedges. Just 1.5 kilometres away is the picturesque pebble beach of Punta Debij, where guests can rent sun loungers and reed-covered parasols and swim in the crystal-clear water. The spacious campsite offers comfort and privacy for those travelling by motorhome. Families enjoy special amenities such as a children's playground, a sanitary area for young visitors, a baby changing room and child-friendly entertainment. A separate washing and grooming area for four-legged friends also makes dog owners' hearts beat faster. The atmosphere on the campsite is relaxed and cosy. It can get quite lively in high season, but it is usually quiet at night. The staff are friendly and helpful, and great importance is also attached to cleanliness. It is only a short walk from the campsite to the centre of Punat, where Mediterranean restaurants, bars and inviting cafés beckon. A walk to the picturesque harbour with its small yachts and sailing boats is also worthwhile. Visitors can also take a boat trip to the nearby island of Košljun and visit St Mary's Monastery, which dates back to the 15th century.
