Spacious pitches with sinks, top-notch reception team that is very accommodating. Nice pool, practical and pleasantly warm showers. Camping is very well located for visiting Peniscola, an address to remember. Pitch / rental accommodation: Very well-maintained pitch, privacy preserved, easy manoeuvrability.

The staff is friendly, and the facilities are modern. The swimming pools are still being finished. There is a bike path to take right across from the campsite via the housing estate. On bingo night, we had the pleasure of listening to Judith Avila sing. The old town is beautiful, as well as the Serra del Irta, a wild area where we also went cycling. Location/Rental Accommodation: Spot with sink, quiet.

Pitch/Accommodation: Since it was a new campsite, some things were still not finished. For example, the swimming pool, which was almost ready and looked amazing.

Cons

The food in the restaurant is mediocre. I ordered soft, limp fries and steak, but it was a flattened piece of meat as thick as the sole of your shoe and terribly tough.

The campsite is still under construction and is located on the main access road to Peñíscola, about 5 km outside the town. Unfortunately, the access is not signposted on the road, so you need to pay attention to find it. Currently, there are about 100 pitches, with around 10 rental bungalows still to be built. The reception staff are all very friendly, and the sanitary building is new and modern with shower cubicles, toilets, and washbasins. There is only 1 washing machine/dryer for the entire site. The pitches are all gravel and come in 3 sizes, separated by young hedges. They are also suitable for large mobile homes. Unfortunately, most of them are on a slope, and leveling wedges/jacks are not enough to make up for it. The gravel is not compacted, making it difficult to maneuver trailers and the wheels sink. Water and sewage connections are available at each pitch with a washbasin. There is no shade yet; the young trees will need a few years to grow.
