Camping Park Weiherhof

We always enjoy going back to Camping Park Weiherhof. And this, even though the site is not directly around the corner. The sanitary facilities are always clean, the on-site restaurant is simply top-notch. For dog lovers, there's plenty of countryside around for walking them. In the neighboring village, there's everything you need for good and affordable shopping.

Very nice sanitary facilities always clean except that camping guests sometimes leave dirt, but the staff can’t do anything about it. Very friendly uncomplicated reception and nice assistance. In the store, you can get the essentials. Bread rolls and cake service perfect. Very nice plots. A mix of campers and seasonal campers. Electricity, sewage, water all available. Some places and the tent field at the entrance are very sloped. In summer, nice bathing area, playground, and swimming meadow. Ideal to enjoy the lake or nature. WiFi apparently not available at every site. And general mobile network in the RV not always available in the evening.

Quietly located campsite, nice and helpful staff. The access roads are very narrow; we could barely make it around the corner with our trailer. Beautiful location by the lake, very small shallow bathing beach for children. Unfortunately, the mud play table was out of order. Generally, there is not much offered for children: a very outdated playground and countless "paid attractions" like riding animals or slot machines, two trampolines. The children's playroom was opened only upon request and then immediately closed again. No activities available. There is a small fenced dog area for dogs, but the gate unfortunately keeps opening by itself. Dogs are unfortunately not allowed to bathe in the lake. There are many permanent campers at the site, mixed with the tourist spots. There is quite a bit of traffic since many permanent campers, for example, go out to get bread rolls or bring in garbage.

Staff was nice, the lake is okay. Wi-Fi is a disaster!! And charging 10€ for 7 days, for only 1 gigabyte is really little!! The space is okay in size, but the sewage is not usable as it is too high! The sanitary building with 3 toilets and showers is too small, as are the only 2 dishwashing options. There was also no laundry cabin. No animation either, only when the summer holidays start in RLP. The youth meeting place, well!! I would give a maximum of 3 stars!!!!!!

We were at the Camping Park Weiherhof over Easter. It is a very nicely situated place, very quiet and adjacent to beautiful hiking trails. The campsite itself is nice, but the individual pitches are really difficult to assess. We had the great misfortune that our pitch was so wet and the water was really standing on the meadow, which meant we could not set up our sun sail/our tent. We also heard similar experiences from other vacationers. On the day of departure, six strong men helped get a camper van out of the pitch, as it had gotten stuck in the mud. I would really advise to change something about that. Otherwise, we were really satisfied, the sanitary facilities are clean, and the staff is attentive. It’s also worth mentioning the campsite restaurant. The owner changed on April 1st and now there is an Italian there. The pizza was grand, you should definitely have a little something to eat there.

Super nice team, well-maintained campsite and perfect for a quiet break with child and dog. We've been here several times. The newly designed restaurant, including the really nice new operator, is a real plus. Very tasty, friendly, and top value for money.

Well-organized campsite, very clean and quiet, nice and helpful staff. Swimming possible in the lake. The short vacation was too short. Anytime again, very recommended. Best regards
