Very well-maintained, beautiful facility. Lots of green… surrounded by vineyards. Very friendly and absolutely professional staff. Nice camping shop. Well-stocked with many regional products! Family-friendly… quiet, relaxed! Essential supplies around the corner (supermarket, etc.), bus connection right at the door. The so-called 'Bolzano Card' is included in the booking price! This means: bus/train, cable car/museums, etc…. The sanitary facilities are very clean and always well maintained. Absolutely recommendable…!

Nice, manageable campsite. Friendly staff, clean sanitary facilities, what is missing here are just paper towels. The site is perfectly located; with the Bolzano Card, you can get everywhere for free. The site is recommended for a longer stay as well as for transit.

We (2 adults, 2 children (4 and 1 year old)) were camping with our caravan for two weeks. The booking, including the inquiry, offer, and deposit, went smoothly. The check-in was also friendly, quick, and professional. To welcome us, the senior owner of the large daughter company slipped a small chocolate bar to us :-) We got a spot near the playground, which is designed to be spacious and diverse. This was also done with other families, so the first friendships were formed. The street is not far away, but the sometimes criticized street noise was bearable for us and not out of the ordinary. We also used the swimming pool, which was just as clean and modern as the sanitary facilities. We can recommend the restaurant directly at the campsite, as we did not go to the hotel restaurant. The campsite shop also leaves nothing to be desired, and the prices are fair. If you need something larger (e.g. barbecue meat), there are up to four supermarkets within walking distance, as well as bakers/butchers/drugstores, etc. in town. The bus stop in front of the campsite takes you directly to Bolzano, but it takes some time to get there. We can recommend the site without reservation (OK, the mosquitoes were still very persistent even at the end of September...) further.

The place is very family-oriented. Not as anonymous as many large campgrounds. We had a great parking spot. The facilities (outdoor and indoor pool, excellent sanitation buildings, good restaurant) are superb. With the South Tyrol Card, you get many advantages and can use public transport and many cable cars for free, the bus stops right at the entrance. It was really fun. We will come back.

During check-in, I was promised a sufficiently large spot for a 7.5 m camper and assured multiple times of its adequacy. In the end, I got a spot with a length of under 7 m, which would have had the rear hanging into the street. With difficulty, the camper could be diagonally placed on the parcel, which was a joke. The lady at the reception was not exactly motivated and unfriendly. Nowadays, one doesn't even need to care for their guests since the spots are always fully booked anyway. This was different a few years ago. The cleanliness of the showers and toilets was adequate. Good that we were only here for one night. Conclusion: Once and never again.

We have already been there twice and feel very comfortable every time due to the family-like management of the place. The beautiful planting in the area invites you to linger. The pool is usable in both good and bad weather thanks to the small indoor pool providing an alternative option. You can eat wonderfully in the restaurant on the premises, and the senior manager likes to stop by for a little chat in the dining room, checking in with guests about their satisfaction. The manager herself also cycles around the area and checks on things every day. We were impressed by the presence and politeness of each individual staff member, and we felt at home. We always found the washrooms in impeccable condition, and there is nothing to criticize here either. As a starting point for excursions into the beautiful mountains or the nearby lakes for swimming, the location is ideally situated. The playground also offers plenty of space and shade for little explorers. Thanks to the whole team at Camping Steiner. We will certainly visit again a third time.

The Steiner Camping Park in Laives in South Tyrol impresses with its family atmosphere and fantastic location surrounded by vineyards and apple orchards. Cool off on hot days in the private pool in the charming garden. A well-maintained indoor pool offers swimming fun regardless of the weather. The family-friendly campsite boasts an adventure playground made from natural materials. If you want to spoil yourself on your outdoor holiday, book the extensive breakfast buffet with your pitch.
Around 8 kilometres from Bolzano, Camping-Park Steiner is located on the outskirts of the tranquil South Tyrolean town of Laives next to the hotel of the same name. The 2.5-hectare site has 180 parcelled-out pitches, all of which are equipped with electricity and Wi-Fi connections. There are also romantic wooden huts and sleeping barrels for hire in the park with its vine arbours and large elm trees. For an extra charge, guests can book the extensive breakfast buffet at Hotel Steiner in addition to their pitch for tents, caravans or motorhomes and indulge in homemade jams, crispy bread rolls, regional dairy products, bacon and cheese from South Tyrol and many other delicacies in the morning. When hunger strikes during the day, the camping restaurant and pizzeria adjacent to the campsite is the first port of call, where all dishes are also available to take away. Those seeking peace and quiet can make themselves comfortable on the well-tended sunbathing lawn at Camping-Park Steiner, where palm trees, olive trees and other Mediterranean plants provide shade. Active guests, on the other hand, can take a dip in the 20 x 10 metre outdoor pool. In bad weather, the indoor pool provides exercise and fun in the wet element. Families are just as likely to be found here as in the large adventure playground. Children can let off steam on the climbing wall, slides and swings. In between, the rustic tree house invites you to relax. There is also a giant sandpit and a separate toddler area with a crawling castle.
Hikers will find the Steiner Camping Park an ideal starting point for tours of various lengths. From Laives/Leifers, for example, it is a four-hour walk along the pilgrimage path to the romantic Baroque-style Maria Weißenstein monastery. On the way, holidaymakers pass artistically designed Stations of the Cross and enjoy a magnificent view of the South Tyrolean lowlands. Less than 30 minutes' drive from the campsite, Lake Kaltern is an Eldorado for families and water sports enthusiasts. Due to its shallow depth, the largest bathing lake in South Tyrol warms up to 28 degrees Celsius in summer: perfect conditions for swimming and splashing around. Lake Kaltern is also a popular spot for kitesurfing and windsurfing.
