Pros: Location above Mentan (reachable via a beautiful but steep path with many steps) The campgrounds are laid out in terraces, not very large, but some have very nice and large trees and plantings. View varies by spot, but can be breathtaking. Friendly and attentive reception. Cons: Poor sanitary facilities (too few, especially the ones at reception, everything very makeshift, they have soap but no toilet paper, unpleasant smells/atmosphere) Price-performance ratio is also terrible (two nights for two people with a caravan in the low season nearly 120€!!!) Access is very challenging (narrow, winding or serpentine, steep, requires advanced (towing) drivers and nerves)! Again, typical: in this area, there is only this one site, so why should they offer more if people are going to come anyway?

Certainly the location and view are nice, but the owners tend to capitalize on that by disregarding everything else. Unsanitary and dangerous facilities (exposed electrical wires, don’t take your children there alone!), the reception staff is barely pleasant (it must be said that they can’t decide anything on their own and seem filled with fear; I can’t imagine the professional relationship their boss imposes on them). Most importantly, you are required to pay for a pitch 3 days in advance, and when you finally decide to leave a day early, they refuse to refund you. When you treat customers this way, you don't deserve to have them.

The campsite is located on a plateau above Menton with a view of the sea - if you have the right pitch. However, the site is under its possibilities. Everything is old and very worn. There is also only one "sanitary building" with two toilets and two showers - but very clean. The price of €54 for 1 night, 2 adults, 1 dog + electricity is completely overpriced. I still give 3 stars due to the location and the cleanliness of the sanitary facilities. Conclusion: Unfortunately, we cannot recommend the site in this condition. It's a shame, really.

Great view, baguette service, but the hygiene in the sanitary facilities was not satisfactory. We will not use the place a second time as it was definitely too expensive.

Great location, great view, nice atmosphere due to the many olive trees, basically clean, yes it is a bit rustic and simple, but you feel comfortable, the place is run by very nice people who are always friendly and helpful, it has a bit of the charm like camping in the 80s, which is meant positively 6 toilets in total, 3 showers Order rolls in advance 4 people, 3 nights 170€ Considering that everything else is closed...

We stayed overnight here because we couldn't find another open spot in the region in March (the campground opened in early February 2022). The campground is located about 1.5 km from the center of Menton, on a height. The access is difficult for larger vehicles (partly very narrow, steep inclines, tight turns even uphill; the campground's homepage points this out as well. We were lucky - in summer with more traffic we wouldn't risk it). With (some very old) olive trees. Some pitches are well suited for motorhomes or caravans (gravel). From some pitches, there is a wide view; also of the sea. The opened sanitary facilities are simple but okay. With 49 EUR/night for a small trailer/2 pers. /electricity in March, we found the fees clearly overpriced. Although we quite liked the campground itself, we would not visit it again due to the price and the difficult access with the trailer.
