Camping Parc des Maurettes

The site is in a great location close to various shopping options, very near the train station. The sanitary facilities are not good at all. The site has no pool, no restaurant or snack bar, and also no shopping options!

The pitch that I had was good, there was electricity (10A) and water at the site. Unfortunately, there is no pool and the sanitary facilities are in need of renovation! It is quite close to the train station, and therefore well suited for getting to Nice or Monaco.

We only wanted to stay here for 2 nights with our caravan to visit Nice and Monaco. However, the assigned pitch was so nice that we extended our stay to 6 days. Unfortunately, we couldn't stay longer because the spot was then booked. The ladies at the reception speak fluent German and are super friendly. From the site, it is about 300m to the train and bus station, to the beach, and to the very well-stocked supermarket. Our pitch was very quiet, we had enough privacy on all sides and the power connection was sufficient for the air conditioning. The sanitary facilities weren't the most modern, but they were always clean as they were cleaned several times a day. The beach was very pleasant, except for Sunday, as it was not crowded. Here we could relax excellently and that was also the reason for our extension. The location is great for exploring the other towns along the coast. The restaurants at the nearby marina are very good. We can definitely recommend the site for couples traveling alone without children and pets.

Perfect as a stopover for Nice and the like. Very nice bike paths into the city. Also easily accessible by train. Sanitary facilities clean. What more could you want?

Due to the hillside location and the varied vegetation, all the spots are different, making the area feel like a beautiful park rather than a parking lot for camping vehicles. Very nice: attractive destinations such as Nice, Cannes, or Antibes are reachable by bike. Very friendly staff 👌

Nice, terrace-shaped camping with plenty of shaded spots. Reception speaks perfect German. Shopping opportunities nearby. The sanitary facilities are so-so. Not really clean, but that's usually the fault of the previous user. As camping goes for 1-2 nights, top-notch,

Taking the bus to Nice is good with 40 minutes. Staff friendly and helpful. An absolute downside is the sanitary facilities. Often no hot water and very, very old sanitary installations. Also, the sanitary facilities are not clean. The cleaning lady cleaned the toilet in front of us by spraying with her hose into the toilet and on the floor. In our opinion, hygiene is not respected.

The staff at the reception speaks perfect German and is very friendly! You are provided with plenty of information material, and everything is explained in detail. Super! A beautifully laid out small site on the slope, many old trees providing ample shade, everything is well-maintained and clean. Unisex sanitary facilities are also good and clean, though a bit dated. Camp-Card price via app; even during the lunch break, we were allowed to enter the site with the caravan. There is no store, but there are vending machines with drinks and ice cream at the entrance; a supermarket and bakery are within walking distance. Nice (16 km), Cannes (18 km), and Antibes (7 km) are easily accessible by bike, and you can also reach Monaco by train. The place itself is not very attractive, with a rocky beach; the BPA must be handed in at the reception during your stay, and in the evening, the grounds are closed off with a code for pedestrians. Since the site borders on an industrial area, it is quite loud during the day. Aircraft noise is less dramatic in comparison; the road and rail noise is louder.
