"Way too loud..."
4
Nicole
On the homepage it says for the Kleinlager zone ".... but not that quiet" or when booking "...but louder (road and groups)". It is never mentioned that the campsite is right next to the highway, which has no noise barrier. For our taste, it was too loud throughout the campsite and the Kleinlager zone was a nuisance. We cut our holiday short. Of course, we didn't get the money back... The sanitary facilities were only cleaned in the morning, despite the rain...

Beautifully located campsite by Lake Neuchâtel.

Great starting point for biking tours in the Jura or around the lake. Almost only friendly staff. Sanitary facilities are clean. Highway noise doesn't bother too much. With the guest card, all public transport in the canton is included! This is a big plus. Restaurant and bread distribution are okay. We will come back.

Small plots, right by the highway, dirty and smelly sanitary facilities, nice playground

According to the highway, right next door very loud "music" (especially bass) every night, small plots (so-called comfort pitches...), sanitary facilities in the back area very dirty, stinks, partially no hot water for showering. The playground is great. We would not come back.

Well-Located Campsite
Pleasant6
Eric
The campsite has about 175 plots for long-term campers as a vital basis of the site! The main season is also important. The management of Viva Site has introduced some good innovations for this time, which are useful for everyone. Three years ago, the two businesses (restaurant and campsite) were merged. However, it has not worked out, just like a few years before! Particularly the pre- and post-season have suffered from it. Above all, the sanitary facilities have been neglected. It's a pity that those responsible at Viva Site tolerate this negative situation. It would be pleasing and urgently necessary to separate the two businesses again and hand them over to a competent person.
