Not well thought out enough, too expensive for the average
Really good and pleasant when arriving is the machine that serves for check-in outside of opening hours. Otherwise, quite a few issues: Ventilation in the showers (in the basement) too little, mold on the ceiling, mouse problems among others. Happy to Come Back
We were there for the second time with a larger group for camping. It was once again very nice, quiet, and relaxing. The only disturbance was the lawn mowing on Saturday afternoon. We will come back.

We love this place. Very clean, nice operators. You can ride through the fields very nicely with the bicycle, little traffic.

Dusty roads, a lot of dust from passing traffic. In July and August, the surrounding fields of grain are harvested, causing a lot of noise and dust. Open all year round, Camping Paradies Franken is located in a peaceful, natural setting between Würzburg and Rothenburg, close to the rivers Main and Tauber. Combined with a family atmosphere and modern facilities, the site is an ideal starting point for excursions in the surrounding area.
Relaxed campsite
There are 60 pitches for holidaymakers on an area of around 2 hectares. Of these, 50 are parcelled out and range in size from 70 to 120 square metres, so that campers can enjoy plenty of space and privacy. For added convenience, there are electricity and water connections, well-maintained sanitary facilities and free Wi-Fi on the site. Younger guests can let off steam in the playground, while adults are pampered with a massage in the wellness room. Dogs are also very welcome at the campsite. In the morning, the kiosk provides fresh bread rolls for a good start to the day. The campsite's own pub serves coffee and cake as well as home-style cooking. Nature and culture lovers alike will be delighted with the activities on offer at Camping Paradies Franken. You can admire the natural idyll of the region on one of the numerous hikes or cycle tours in the Franconian wine paradise recreation area or along the rivers Tauber and Main. A visit to one of the four outdoor swimming pools in the surrounding area is also popular with young and old alike. The beautiful city of Würzburg with its imposing residence is also only about half an hour away from the campsite.
