The campsite is rather remote from the town. The taxi fare from Calvi train station to the campsite is about 30 Euros. We would be here for 3 days with a small baby. Anyone who cannot tolerate tranquility should definitely bring a car! A local winery can be reached on foot in 20 minutes, which offers not only white, red, and rosé wine but also lemon wine. Now about the campsite: The owner speaks fluent English and German in addition to French. Other languages are also likely. There is a large, unheated swimming pool. A bar with a restaurant offering homemade food is available. The staff is very friendly and speaks English in addition to French. The chalet was clean and well-maintained. From our chalet, there was a good view of the mountains towards the Bonifato forest. Public transport or a bicycle rental is not available here. This can be found at Corsican prices in Calvi. Overall, it feels very family-oriented and nice.
