We originally wanted to spend only 1-2 nights here, but then extended to 6 nights because we liked it here so much. In the low season there is extremely little going on, making it super nice and relaxing. In high season, it will surely be different and wouldn’t be to our liking. All amenities such as restaurant, shop, mini golf, etc. are fully usable and not restricted due to low season. The sanitary facilities are all super new and clean! For our dog, the four fenced-in lawns with water hoses were great, and at the beach, he could also easily enter the water - there was very little going on here too.

Well-maintained, well-organized, very well-equipped, expensive CP. Not 'directly at the sea' as ADAC writes. About 400 m walk. Not a big deal, but incorrect information. You hear and see nothing from the sea at the CP. Absolutely nothing.

I don't know where the good reviews are coming from. We had a so-called deluxe spot with a private bathroom, this private bathroom defied all description, run down, I estimate it's about 40 years old corresponding to Italian standards! If the good reviews come from a supermarket with a pool, where swim caps are still mandatory, then goodnight! Also, regarding the pitches, if you like to camp alone, surrounded by numerous uninhabited permanent pitches, then this is the place for you. The car cannot be parked at the pitch but must be parked 200 meters away!

Very good: very friendly staff. Shopping facilities, entertainment and children's programs, swimming pool, mini-golf, extra dog area. Various restaurants. The pitches are covered with a fabric to protect the vehicles. Possibility of pitches with private kitchen, toilet, and shower. Slightly negative: You can hear the train (tent trailer). I didn't notice this in a bungalow that we have also rented. In a camper, you probably won't hear it much either. Dog beach is about 1.5 km away. There, however, is the possibility of renting a spot with a dog bed (positive when it's hot sand).

The campsite, like many others in the world, is located near a fast road and a railway line. Those who cannot stand the noise from cars and trains should vacation in a hotel. I think this campsite is exceptionally beautiful and offers plenty of opportunities to enjoy a relaxing and restful holiday. There is a wonderfully beautiful swimming pool with a whirlpool, a beautifully landscaped mini-golf course, tennis courts, several basketball and volleyball courts, and artificial turf sports fields. Two great restaurants and a bar, the sea is not far away and can be reached in 5-10 minutes on foot over a footbridge. The sanitation facilities are clean and cleaned around the clock. By bike, it takes 30 minutes to get to Follonica (beach promenades), very beautiful and typically Italian. Simply class! 😎

It is only 300 metres from Camping Pappasole to the kilometre-long sandy beach of Carbonifera, where the holiday complex has a private section with sun loungers, parasols and water sports facilities. The fine sandy shore and crystal-clear sea have been awarded the "Blue Flag" for particularly good water quality and offer relaxing beach days in Tuscany. The pool area with swimming pool, wellness pool, children's paddling area and jacuzzi at the heart of the campsite promises just as much swimming fun.
Camping Pappasole welcomes nature-loving travellers surrounded by rolling fields and green meadows on the Tuscan coast. The campsite is located near Riotorto, nestled in the enchanting Cornia Valley with its precious landscape treasures such as the Sterpaia Coastal Park and the Montioni Nature Park. The resort itself is also naturally designed with tall trees, green meadows and extensive gardens with flowering plants. Amidst the lush vegetation, there are 477 pitches for caravans, which are parcelled out and shaded by shrubs and have electricity and water connections. There is a choice of pitches measuring 90 m² with 6-amp electricity and 100 m² with 10-amp electricity. If you want your own shower and cooking facilities while camping, you can book a pitch with its own washing and kitchen facilities. In the centre of each of the four camping zones is a barrier-free and child-friendly sanitary facility with toilets, showers, changing tables and washing machines. The holiday village is equipped with communal barbecue areas and playgrounds. Guests particularly love the lively atmosphere and the eventful programme at Camping Pappasole. There are multi-purpose pitches, tennis courts and a mini-golf course for sporting fun. Like-minded people also meet up for fitness classes and group dances. Children can enjoy outdoor adventures within the safe grounds and make new friends at the mini club.
Numerous nature reserves around Camping Pappasole are ideal for exploring on foot or on two wheels. The Maremma coast, with its famous Sterpaia coastal park, offers a wild and romantic backdrop for walks along the beach. The soft sand leads you past ancient oaks, gnarled tamarisk trees and extensive dune landscapes. The WWF reserve "Padule Orti-Bottagone" is an idyllic destination for a family hike. It is one of Italy's rare wetlands and consists of both freshwater and saltwater lagoons. On two beautiful trails, the bird diversity is particularly impressive with species such as the flamingo, kestrel, black-winged stilt and cormorant. Gourmets can take a cycle tour to the surrounding vineyards such as "Tenuta Poggio Rosso" or "Azienda Agricola Bartoli", where full-bodied "Cabernet and Sangiovese wines" can be tasted.
