Way too highly rated!
I dont know where the good reviews are coming from. We had a so-called deluxe spot with a private bathroom, this private bathroom defied all description, run down, I estimate its about 40 years old corresponding to Italian standards If the good reviews come from a supermarket with a pool, where s… More

Nothing to complain about
The campsite, like many others in the world, is located near a fast road and a railway line. Those who cannot stand the noise from cars and trains should vacation in a hotel.I think this campsite is exceptionally beautiful and offers plenty of opportunities to enjoy a relaxing and restful holiday.… More

Beautiful site, but with restrictions
Beautifully laid out site in the pine forest with shade and depending on the pitch its own bathroom and kitchen at the site. With us, there are almost only Italians, including many long-term campers. Therefore, it is not the quietest place there is constantly a typical busy hustle and bustle .… More

Beautiful campsite with a few negative features
The campsite itself is very nicely laid out and also very clean. The sanitary facilities are cleaned several times a day, as is the entire campsite. There are two restaurants on the campsite where one can have a decent meal. For children, there is a very nice playground with bouncy castles. However,… More

It is only 300 metres from Camping Pappasole to the kilometre-long sandy beach of Carbonifera, where the holiday complex has a private section with sun loungers, parasols and water sports facilities. The fine sandy shore and crystal-clear sea have been awarded the "Blue Flag" for particularly good water quality and offer relaxing beach days in Tuscany. The pool area with swimming pool, wellness pool, children's paddling area and jacuzzi at the heart of the campsite promises just as much swimming fun.
Camping Pappasole welcomes nature-loving travellers surrounded by rolling fields and green meadows on the Tuscan coast. The campsite is located near Riotorto, nestled in the enchanting Cornia Valley with its precious landscape treasures such as the Sterpaia Coastal Park and the Montioni Nature Park. The resort itself is also naturally designed with tall trees, green meadows and extensive gardens with flowering plants. Amidst the lush vegetation, there are 477 pitches for caravans, which are parcelled out and shaded by shrubs and have electricity and water connections. There is a choice of pitches measuring 90 m² with 6-amp electricity and 100 m² with 10-amp electricity. If you want your own shower and cooking facilities while camping, you can book a pitch with its own washing and kitchen facilities. In the centre of each of the four camping zones is a barrier-free and child-friendly sanitary facility with toilets, showers, changing tables and washing machines. The holiday village is equipped with communal barbecue areas and playgrounds. Guests particularly love the lively atmosphere and the eventful programme at Camping Pappasole. There are multi-purpose pitches, tennis courts and a mini-golf course for sporting fun. Like-minded people also meet up for fitness classes and group dances. Children can enjoy outdoor adventures within the safe grounds and make new friends at the mini club.
Numerous nature reserves around Camping Pappasole are ideal for exploring on foot or on two wheels. The Maremma coast, with its famous Sterpaia coastal park, offers a wild and romantic backdrop for walks along the beach. The soft sand leads you past ancient oaks, gnarled tamarisk trees and extensive dune landscapes. The WWF reserve "Padule Orti-Bottagone" is an idyllic destination for a family hike. It is one of Italy's rare wetlands and consists of both freshwater and saltwater lagoons. On two beautiful trails, the bird diversity is particularly impressive with species such as the flamingo, kestrel, black-winged stilt and cormorant. Gourmets can take a cycle tour to the surrounding vineyards such as "Tenuta Poggio Rosso" or "Azienda Agricola Bartoli", where full-bodied "Cabernet and Sangiovese wines" can be tasted.
