The staff are very friendly and helpful. There is a bus shuttle to Fiesole from where you can continue on line 7 into the city of Florence. Very uncomplicated. The restaurant had delicious food and in the morning you could buy bread rolls. Site/Rental accommodation: We were here with our motorhome. Electricity is available at the site. There are many options for waste disposal in a separation system.
The sanitary facilities are very old but clean. The access from the main road is difficult due to a sharp left turn. We stayed overnight in our motorhome.

The breathtaking view of Florence Easy access to the city via bus 7 to Fiesole (20-min walk from the campsite) The sanitary facilities are slightly dirty but still acceptable The shuttle that departs from the campsite to the center of Fiesole every hour Pitch/Rental accommodation: Spacious, easy access to electricity, nearby trash bins, nearly flat pitch
The opening hours of the pool (until 7 PM): once you have visited the city of Florence, it is not possible to return and swim. You would have to shorten each day. Swimming caps are required for the pool (sold for 7.5 euros each at the campground's mini-shop, which is slightly dishonest) whereas we found the same ones in a shop in Florence for 1.2 euros. At the reception, understanding English can sometimes be complicated.

The connection with nature. Unconventional and thus calm and relaxing with a unique view. A special feature is the daily free shuttle to the marketplace of Fiesole and the proximity to Florence. Simply a great campsite. Pitch/Rental accommodation: The view from our pitch.

Cleanliness of toilets and showers, breakfast supply, commitment of the restaurant team. Campsite/Rental accommodation: Clean, gravel-covered pitches; size is completely fine if you spend the days in Florence.
Separate area for chemical toilet disposal (now directly next to the waste area). At least one drinking water tap on the individual terraces. Campsite/Rental accommodation: In our impression, occasionally unreliable and inflexible shuttle service.

Wonderful location, very good service, and friendly reception. Great pool and poolside service Pitch/Rental accommodation: Clean spot and electricity included
The music in the evening is simply too loud to enjoy the beautiful surroundings or to have a conversation during dinner. Some chillout music would be better - after all, no one really wants to dance.

Camping Village Panoramico Fiesole is located above the rooftops of Florence and is particularly popular with nature lovers and city travellers. Thanks to the free shuttle bus provided by the campsite, travellers to Florence can reach bus no. 7, which goes directly to the city centre, in just a few minutes. Those who prefer to stay on the pitch will be rewarded with fantastic views surrounded by the green nature of Tuscany.
The 110 parcelled pitches at the unspoilt Camping Panoramico offer scenic views of the city of Florence. From the campsite's own swimming pool, all visitors have a panoramic view, from which the name of the campsite is derived. To find out about sightseeing opportunities in the city, it is worth asking the friendly service staff for tips. As well as Italian, they also speak German and English, so there are no communication barriers. Alternatively, guests can of course also use the campsite's free Wi-Fi to get information. On the campsite itself, campers can try their hand at golf, while children often prefer to have fun in the playground. To ensure that the whole family can enjoy a holiday together, dogs are also allowed at Camping Village Panoramico Fiesole and can stay overnight with their owners free of charge. If you would like to cater for yourself during your camping holiday, there is a small kiosk on the campsite where you can also purchase swimming caps, which are compulsory for use of the pool. The ingredients purchased can then be transformed into a delicious meal at the covered cooking area. Those who prefer to enjoy a relaxed meal on holiday will find both a snack bar and a restaurant serving traditional Italian meals within the complex.
Florence, the city of great minds such as Michelangelo and Galileo Galilei, is located around 10 km south of Fiesole, the terminus of the free shuttle bus 1.5 km from Camping Village Panoramico Fiesole, and is easily accessible by public transport from there. The town is an impressive work of art, the flair of which is particularly noticeable on a stroll through the historic old town. Travellers should definitely not miss a visit to the Uffizi Gallery. The most important works of Italian painting have been on public display in these buildings since the 1580s. If you visit Florence in June, you may be lucky enough to catch a game of the historic Florentine football, the Calcio Storico. In Piazza Santa Croce, teams from the four historic neighbourhoods play the city championship in this medieval forerunner of football.
