Campingplatz Palumpa-Land

The location of the campsite is particularly remarkable. We were there at the end of August and were disappointed to find that nothing was open. The campsite is not located in the immediate vicinity of a town, making it difficult with a motorhome if you've forgotten something or need to shop. The sanitary facilities as well as the site itself are somewhat dated and require a proper renovation. The children's playground at the sandy beach is wonderfully designed. So if you're looking for peace and romance, it’s wonderful, but there wasn’t much more to offer for our stay. The price/quality ratio is significantly inflated.

Unfortunately, our vacation at this campsite was a complete disappointment! The price and value are in no way proportionate. • Misleading impression online: Don’t be fooled by the videos. On-site, everything seems much smaller, and the plots are extremely close together. You stand packed in like sardines. • Inadequate hygiene and facilities: The sanitary buildings were only moderately clean. Additionally, there are far too few toilets and showers for so many campers. • Insufficient information about hazards: We were initially told that swimming was allowed. When we went into the water with our dog, we were only then informed that there were toxic algae present. We were not adequately warned about this in advance! • Unfriendliness and zero flexibility: The staff displayed a very unsympathetic attitude.

•Campsite Offer & Video: The promotional video is misleading. In reality, the facility is much smaller, and the pitches are so closely packed together that there's hardly any privacy. •Sanitary Facilities: Moderately clean and far too few for the number of guests. This quickly leads to bottlenecks. •Safety & Information: We were assured in advance that swimming was allowed on-site. Only when we were already in the water with our dog were we informed about the presence of toxic algae. Such a breach of safety and inadequate prior information is completely unacceptable! •Service & Flexibility: The staff member was persistently unfriendly. Additionally, the operator showed no flexibility: there was no refund for an early departure due to illness. The price-performance ratio is completely off here!

We were warmly welcomed at the reception. We were assigned a lovely spot. Everything was top-notch. The sanitary facilities were modern. The beach bar, newly occupied for two weeks, left no wishes unfulfilled. Very nice service, quickly poured beer, and there were also light meals available. Clear recommendation. 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼

Very nice, quiet campsite. We arrived with two dogs. The water proximity is great, the sanitary facilities are clean and tidy, friendly staff. There was nothing to complain about, would love to come again.

Only the landscape was beautiful. Site so slanted that we could not compensate, sanitary facilities poor, dirty, in the morning there was 2 hours of hot water, after that you could shower cold or ice-cold, washing dishes was not possible the whole day as there was no hot water. There is no sandy beach, as advertised in the pictures, pedal boat rental closed. Likewise, the snack bar is closed. The weekend of the fishing club was practically washed out, as the men could not fish because the shore was completely overgrown with weeds for 20m.... For us, a place we will not return to.

Basically a great location with spots right by the water. However, the dam is very polluted. And apparently no one cares about it - a shame for nature and the many animals! The staff on site is nice, but the boss is totally stressed and overwhelmed, and the rest of the staff lacks empathy. Showers are closed at nine in the morning to clean the drains. The men's showers are simply entered by male staff during peak times, without knocking or asking if it would be okay to clean. As if you weren't there. Occasionally, the toilets were not cleaned at all. At night, the lighting in the toilets is virtually non-existent. The beach bar was permanently closed. This was our first and last visit.

In short, the lady at the reception is very friendly, but completely overwhelmed with the situation on the square, and a certain indifference ruins a lot. She is more occupied with herself and her problems, often not present, and on Wed. July 26, the showers were simply closed completely at 8 PM. For the price, this is unacceptable. What a shame.
