Camping Palouki

We had a great time at the campsite. Very friendly staff, a mini market with the essentials and fresh bread in the morning. The sanitary facilities are old, it often takes a long time for the hot water to arrive, but they are also very clean. The direct location by the sea is of course superb. The restaurant also has delicious dishes. We would come back.

Superbly situated in a beautiful setting, directly on the broad, long sandy beach. Marked pitches of all sizes, also for large motorhomes, under big trees, very shady and generously proportioned. Sanitary facilities are clean, cleaned several times a day, washing machines and dishwashing area available, as well as a mini-market and a nicely located restaurant. In the restaurant good selection of dishes, inexpensive and friendly, attentive service. From the campsite, you go directly to the sandy beach with gently sloping water. To the right, there's a small harbor, to the left, a small river flows into it (nevertheless, few mosquitoes). On the beach, there are 6 umbrellas, but no sunbeds. All the staff is very friendly and helpful. We were able to choose our own pitch. Within walking distance, 2 alternative restaurants are reachable. At night, the frogs croak.

The beach is amazing. The restaurant offers honest Greek freshly cooked dishes at reasonable prices. The staff in the restaurant is super nice and professional. The toilets and cleanliness of the place are okay by Greek standards. There is a strict regime at the place from the "Old Man". That means he has no problem putting down the employees/family in front of the guests. The prime spots on the beach are awarded -as previously complained by others- only based on a nose factor. I think a more modern customer-oriented approach with a smile at the reception -like already implemented in the restaurant- would do the place good.

This means he has no problem belittling the employees/family in front of the guests. Although the service mindset has arrived in the rest of Greece, it feels like it’s been 20 years here; the boss decides and everyone runs (no matter in which direction). The first spots on the beach are - as previously complained by others - only allocated based on favoritism. I think a more modern, customer-oriented approach with a smile at the reception - as already implemented in the restaurant - would do the place good.

Shady spots near the beach, super clean, the sanitary facilities, friendly staff, affordable restaurant, quiet location, and despite the high season, affordable, we will definitely come back.

Diverse offer of pitches: near the beach or with shade ... tip-top! Nice beach restaurant with friendly service. Good sanitary facilities. Highly recommended.

Camping right by the sea. The pitches are all under laurel and olive trees, providing plenty of shade. Longer walks along the beach are possible in both directions. We were there with our dog for 3 days and felt very comfortable.

Great place. Sections separated by bushes. The on-site tavern is good. Beach is great. Owners are extraordinarily friendly. Sanitary facilities are good and clean.
